In 2018 things really slowed down at the Corvette factory. Only 9,686 cars were made in 2018. For those keeping count 2018 was the lowest production volume year since 1959. Not terribly surprising given it was a shortened model year.
The 2018 Carbon 65 Edition Corvette

The Corvette, which for the past six-plus decades has been recognized as the nation’s most popular sports car, made its debut in Flint, Michigan on June 30, 1953.  To commemorate the car’s 65th anniversary milestone, Chevrolet is introducing the Corvette Carbon 65 Edition as an available option on the 2018 Grand Sport 3LT and Z06 3LZ models.
In the tradition of coach built shooting brakes, Callaway offers the AeroWagen for any version of the C7 Corvette Coupe. Its components can be fitted to the standard production C7, the Callaway SC627 Stingray or Grand Sport, or the Callaway SC757 Z06. The AeroWagen hatch assembly is a part-for-part replacement of the original equipment Corvette rear hatch, using the original hardware and latching mechanisms. It operates in an identical fashion.
