C7 Corvette Production Figures

Production and customer delivery of the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe began in September 2013. Corvette assembly plant tours in Bowling Green, Kentucky began in October 2013. Production of the Stingray Convertible began at the end of 2013. In all, a total of 94,529 C7 Corvettes were sold.

Demand for sports cars had started dropping and didn’t stop in in the late 2000s. In fact, 2018 saw only 3,068 Corvettes produced, the lowest sales number in history. Production for the 2018 model year officially began on June 5, 2017. Production was suspended on July 28, when the plant shut down for new paint facility upgrades as well as the addition of a new assembly line for the 2019 ZR1 model, so that didn’t help. The rest of the C7 production years were certainly better than 2018. For the first few years of the C7, Corvette sold 26,565, 20,757 and 21,387 units each year.
