FAQs

Where can I see the sales brochure for my Corvette?

Here: every model year from 1953 to 2022 except 1955 is linked from the generation tables above, one post per brochure, free to read page by page. The year pages carry the same brochure beside that year’s manual, order guide and specifications.

What is in a Corvette sales brochure?

The year’s models and bodies, the exterior and interior colors, the engines, gearboxes and options, the dimensions and specifications, and the factory’s photography and copy. Later catalogs add the packages, the wheels and the trims; the C8 brochures are digital.

Which years are missing?

1955, which announced the V-8 and which we have not yet posted, and 1983, which had no production. Brochures for 2023 on are posted as we obtain them.

Can I use a brochure to check whether my car is original?

For the colors, the interiors, the wheels and the options offered in that year, yes, with one caution: a brochure shows the lineup at the start of the model year, options were added and dropped during it, and some photographs show pre-production cars. Check the order guide for what could be ordered, the production numbers for what was built and the build-date pages for when.

Why do the brochure and the order guide disagree?

Because they were printed at different times for different readers. The brochure was photographed and written before the model year began and shows the planned lineup; the order guide was updated as options and prices changed. When they disagree, the order guide is the later document.

Are these original brochures?

Original factory pieces, presented page by page. Many years had more than one edition (a full catalog and a folder, a dealer and a show version, a mid-year revision); where we have more than one, the post or the year page says so.

Can I download the brochures?

They are posted to read on the site in full. The copyright is General Motors’; we present them as reference and do not sell or redistribute them.

What other factory documents are there?

The owner’s manual (what the owner received), the order guide (the equipment, codes and prices) and, for 2017–2020, the dealer playbook (the sales guide). Each has an index page linked above, and the year pages gather all of them for each model year.
