To mark the final year of the seventh-generation Corvette, Chevrolet introduced the most powerful and technologically advanced production variant in the model’s history. Producing over 750 horsepower, it represented the peak of C7 development. Even with the arrival of the mid-engine C8 Corvette in 2020, the C7 ZR1 remains highly regarded, particularly given its limited production run of fewer than 3,000 coupes and convertibles.
This example, offered on Bring a Trailer, is finished in Torch Red and equipped with the ZTK Track Performance Package. The package adds front splitter end caps and a carbon-fiber adjustable high rear wing for increased aerodynamic performance. Braking is handled by cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors paired with red-finished Brembo calipers at all four corners. It rides on chrome-finished 19-inch front and 20-inch rear 10-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP tires.
Inside, it features heated and ventilated Competition Sport bucket seats trimmed in Jet Black Napa leather with sueded microfiber inserts and red contrast stitching. The 3ZR Premium Equipment Group further enhances the cabin with extended suede and leather trim, a Performance Data and Video Recorder, navigation, carbon-fiber accents, and driver memory settings. Additional equipment includes a Bose audio system, keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate control, and Chevrolet Infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Power comes from the LT5 6.2-liter supercharged V8, the most potent production engine Chevrolet has ever built. It produces 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque, enabled by a larger, more efficient intercooled supercharger—52 percent greater displacement than the Z06’s LT4 unit—along with GM’s first dual-fuel injection system combining direct and port injection. The supercharger assembly is visually highlighted by a carbon-fiber “halo,” showcased through a hood cutout that emphasizes its performance-focused engineering.
