Now listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 represents the ultimate factory expression of the sixth-generation C6 Corvette. Purchased new by its current owner from Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine in Texas, the car has accumulated just 1,800 miles and combines the ZR1’s advanced chassis technology with its formidable supercharged powertrain.
Finished in Jetstream Blue with an Ebony leather interior, the ZR1 is powered by a supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8 producing a factory-rated 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. The engine employs dry-sump lubrication and sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, delivering the engaging mechanical character expected of Chevrolet’s flagship C6.
The ZR1’s performance capability is supported by a hydro-formed aluminum chassis and extensive composite and carbon-fiber bodywork. An exposed carbon-fiber roof, front splitter, and side skirts distinguish the model, while xenon headlights, a transparent engine cover, and polished quad exhaust outlets further define its exterior. Staggered 19-inch front and 20-inch rear chrome-finished multi-spoke aluminum wheels are fitted with Michelin tires.
Braking performance comes from Brembo ceramic-composite discs at all four corners, while Magnetic Ride Control suspension continuously adjusts damping characteristics to balance handling precision with road usability. The combination made the C6 ZR1 one of the most technically sophisticated American performance cars of its era.
Inside, heated power-adjustable Ebony leather bucket seats are complemented by the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, which adds driver-position memory, a power-adjustable steering column, Bose audio, navigation, and steering-wheel controls. Keyless Access, push-button ignition, a head-up display, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control provide additional convenience.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a 6,500-rpm tachometer, accompanied by dedicated gauges monitoring oil pressure, coolant temperature, boost pressure, and fuel level. With its exceptionally low mileage, manual transmission, LS9 V8, carbon-fiber appointments, and factory performance hardware, this ZR1 offers a particularly well-preserved example of the C6 generation’s technological and performance peak.
