Offered for sale through Bring a Trailer, this extensively reengineered 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe blends iconic mid-century styling with modern high-performance engineering. Built by Verrillo Motor Cars of Clifton Park, New York, the restomod features a Carbon Flash Metallic fiberglass body mounted on a purpose-built Coffman Corvette chassis, with widened rear fenders and a tubbed rear section designed to accommodate an aggressive wheel-and-tire package.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 installed in 2024, paired with a Level III 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a custom independent rear suspension. The engine benefits from Holley Terminator X electronic fuel injection, a bespoke stainless-steel intake manifold, billet coil covers, and custom-fabricated side-exit exhausts fed by short-tube headers, delivering contemporary performance beneath the classic split-window silhouette.
The Coffman chassis incorporates rack-and-pinion power steering, Ridetech adjustable coilovers at all four corners, and upgraded control arms, while stopping power is provided by Wilwood performance brakes featuring drilled rotors, six-piston front calipers, four-piston rear calipers, and a Wilwood master cylinder. Chrome C7 Z06-inspired wheels measuring 18 inches front and 20 inches rear are wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires.
Inside, the Corvette receives a fully modernized cockpit trimmed in red-and-black leather, with C5-style bucket seats, matching interior panels, and premium carpeting. Comfort and convenience upgrades include Vintage Air climate control, power windows, a Shiftworks shifter, and a Retrosound Bluetooth audio system with a dedicated subwoofer. Dakota Digital instrumentation provides a contemporary display of vehicle data, while a billet steering wheel mounted on a tilt column reinforces the car’s blend of classic aesthetics and modern functionality.
The drivetrain is completed by a Dana 44 rear axle equipped with 3.55:1 gearing and a custom billet aluminum cover, underscoring the build’s focus on both performance and drivability.
