Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 represents one of the most technically significant versions of the C6 generation. Developed with lessons drawn directly from the Le Mans-winning C6.R race program, the Z06 combined an advanced lightweight structure with the formidable LS7 V8 and a driver-focused six-speed manual transaxle.
At the heart of the car is a naturally aspirated 7.0-liter LS7 V8, featuring dry-sump lubrication and factory ratings of 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Power reaches the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The Z06’s hydroformed aluminum chassis is approximately 30 percent lighter than the conventional Corvette’s steel structure, while a magnesium engine cradle and structural elements further reduce mass and enhance rigidity.
The Z06 also received distinctive bodywork engineered around its wider track and increased performance. Carbon-fiber front fenders and wheelhouses contribute to weight reduction, while wider rear haunches and a dedicated front air intake distinguish it from lesser C6 models. This example is finished in Black and equipped with xenon headlights, fog lamps, polished quad exhaust outlets, and chrome 18-inch front and 19-inch rear twin-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP tires. Stopping power comes from cross-drilled and ventilated discs at all four corners, paired with red Corvette-branded calipers.
Inside, the cabin features Ebony leather power-adjustable bucket seats complemented by matching trim, carpeting, and door panels. The 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group adds heated seats, a power-adjustable steering column, auto-dimming mirrors, Homelink, side airbags, a cargo net, and a Bose audio system. Other amenities include navigation, Keyless Access with push-button start, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a head-up display.
Originally delivered to John Miles Chevrolet Inc. in Conyers, Georgia, the car has accumulated just 680 miles, making it an exceptionally low-mileage example of one of Chevrolet’s most celebrated front-engine performance cars.
