This 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Coupe 3LZ represents a significant evolution of America’s iconic sports car, combining traditional V8 performance with electric propulsion and all-wheel-drive capability. Currently offered through Cars & Bids, this low-mileage example pairs a striking Red Mist Metallic exterior with a Jet Black interior and approximately 2,000 miles on the odometer.
Introduced as part of the eighth-generation Corvette lineup, the E-Ray distinguishes itself from the conventional Stingray through its electrified powertrain and front-axle electric drive system. The mid-engine C8 platform provides the foundation for this configuration, enabling Chevrolet to deliver enhanced traction and rapid acceleration without abandoning the naturally aspirated V8 character that defines the Corvette experience.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 paired with an electric motor and a 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The combined system produces 655 horsepower and 595 lb-ft of torque. The V8 drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the electric motor independently powers the front axle.
This arrangement gives the E-Ray an electrically assisted all-wheel-drive system that can distribute propulsion across all four wheels. Unlike a conventional plug-in hybrid, its compact battery is replenished through the vehicle’s operating systems rather than an external charging connection. The result is a performance-oriented drivetrain engineered to improve traction and responsiveness while preserving the familiar operation of a gasoline-powered sports car.
The car’s Red Mist Metallic finish provides a distinctive exterior presentation, complemented by 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Its removable roof panel adds flexibility, allowing owners to enjoy an open-air driving experience without sacrificing the structural configuration of a coupe.
The 3LZ trim brings an extensive collection of premium equipment. Notable features include Magnetic Selective Ride Control, a front-axle lift system with memory functionality, and carbon-ceramic brakes. Inside, the Jet Black cabin features Torch Red seatbelts, Adrenaline Red stitching, and a carbon-fiber and sueded steering wheel.
According to the seller, the only reported modification is a J&L engine oil separator. The vehicle has also received a ceramic coating, and the sale includes two keys, the window sticker, the owner’s manual, and a VIN-specific scale model. The seller reports purchasing the Corvette new in July 2025.
