At Utah Motorsports Campus, YouTuber and collector Supercar Ron staged a compelling high-speed showdown between two of the most technologically advanced supercars currently on the market: a 1,064-horsepower twin-turbo Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and Lamborghini’s electrified V12 flagship, the Lamborghini Revuelto.

On paper, the matchup appeared surprisingly even. Both machines produce roughly comparable power figures and carry similar curb weights, yet the real-world outcome revealed a dramatic performance gap. The Corvette ZR1 arrived lightly modified with a Relic exhaust system said to unlock an additional 100 horsepower, while the Revuelto remained mechanically stock aside from aftermarket wheels.

The American contender combined its high-revving twin-turbocharged V8 with aggressive aerodynamics, carbon-fiber construction, and staggering straight-line acceleration. Meanwhile, Lamborghini countered with the emotional appeal of a naturally aspirated V12 paired with hybrid assistance and all-wheel drive traction.

Rather than conducting a traditional drag race, the pair performed a series of 40-mph roll races along the 0.9-mile straight at Utah Motorsports Campus. Early runs immediately suggested the Corvette held a decisive advantage.

Despite traction challenges, shifting inconsistencies, and strong headwinds, the ZR1 consistently reeled in and overtook the Revuelto with alarming ease. Even after the drivers swapped cars to eliminate skill as a variable, the outcome remained unchanged.

What made the result especially significant was the value proposition. At approximately $250,000, the Corvette ZR1 delivered hypercar-level acceleration against a Lamborghini costing nearly $860,000. By the end of the session, both drivers agreed on one conclusion: the new ZR1 is not merely competitive—it is one of the fastest production performance cars currently available at any price point.
