To mark the final year of the seventh-generation Corvette, Chevrolet introduced the most powerful and advanced version ever built—the C7 ZR1. Producing over 750 horsepower and packed with performance upgrades, it remains highly desirable despite the arrival of the mid-engine C8, with fewer than 3,000 examples made.
Power comes from the LT5 6.2-liter V8, the most potent engine ever fitted to a front-engine Corvette. It delivers 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque thanks to a larger, intercooled supercharger—52% bigger than the Z06’s—and GM’s first dual-fuel injection system combining direct and port injection. The setup sits beneath a carbon-fiber “halo” visible through a hood cutout. Buyers could choose between a seven-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
A new front fascia with larger intakes and diffusers improves cooling and aerodynamics. Two aero kits enhance stability: a standard low wing enables a top speed near 215 mph, while the optional high wing—part of the ZTK Track Performance Package—adds maximum downforce for sharper cornering. The ZTK pack also brings a carbon-fiber splitter, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and a track-focused chassis and Magnetic Ride Control tuning.
Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this C7 Corvette ZR1 is finished in Shadow Gray over Jet Black leather and shows just 2,049 miles. It’s a sparingly driven, well-optioned example featuring the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, Track Performance Package, Carbon Flash 19″/20″ 10-spoke wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, and a removable carbon-fiber roof panel.
Additional equipment includes xenon headlights, a rear wing, heated and ventilated power GT bucket seats, a performance data and video recorder, front curb-view cameras, a backup camera, navigation, a head-up display, and a Bose sound system.
