For Sale: A Beautifully Restored 1958 Corvette
It’s been awhile since we shared a first-generation Corvette with you, but we’ve found a 1958 C1 Corvette that we think is definitely worth giving a look.
We found this 1958 Corvette listed for sale on Ebay by Mike and Mike Corvettes in Richmond, Kentucky. The Corvette features a numbers matching 283 cubic inch, 230 horsepower engine. The engine is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The odometer reads just 17,100 miles and, according to the listing, is confirmed as “actual miles” by the car’s registration in the State of Kentucky.
The Corvette was fully restored (frame-off restoration) approximately nine years ago. Since that time the car has been stored indoors and has been meticulously maintained. This rust-free Corvette is still show quality. It features a Ermine White base coat/clear coat finish with Silver side covers. The paint still has a beautiful sheen and appears “wet” in natural light. All of the car’s chrome is in excellent condition. It features a beautiful black soft top. It also features new, wide, white-wall tires paired up with the correct 1958 hubcaps originally found on this car.
The interior of the car is finished in factory red. All of the surfaces, from the seats to the carpeting to the dashboard are in great condition. They do not show wear consistent with a car of this age. Instead, the interior is plush and looks almost new. Moving to the dashboard, all of the instrumentation is correct/original, and all of the gauges operate except the speedometer.
The current asking price for this car is $75,000.00.
The team at Mike and Mike Corvettes state that they will ship the car anywhere in the world. They only ask that any potential buyer contact them for actual shipping costs prior to purchasing the car. They can be reached at 270-402-2059. Additionally, the dealer offers financing (with approved credit) via JJ Best and Collector Car Lending.
It should be noted that this car is being sold “AS-IS” and does not come with any type of warranty. The dealer requires a $2,000 deposit on the car within 48 hours of purchase (thru Ebay). The balance of the purchase price must be paid within 7 days of purchase. The company will accept cash, checks, bank wire transfers and a check from an approved financier. They will not accept Paypal.
Please note that Corvsport.com is not compensated in any way for this listing and only shares this (and all) Corvettes for sale with you to help bring qualified buyers and sellers together.
