Limited to 500 units for the U.S. market, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition celebrates the championship-winning Chevrolet Corvette C7.R race car. It comes standard with the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group and the Z07 Performance Package, along with a distinctive appearance package featuring exterior graphics, carbon-fiber ground effects, a carbon-fiber hood insert, yellow brake calipers, and black 19- and 20-inch wheels with yellow accent stripes.
This example, currently listed on Bring a Trailer, is finished in black over a Jet Black leather interior. It features Competition Sport Seats with yellow contrast stitching and sueded microfiber inserts that extend to the doors, instrument panel, steering wheel, and shifter.
The C7.R Edition also includes carbon-fiber interior trim, C7.R logos embroidered on the headrests, Corvette Racing sill plates, and a numbered C7.R Edition plaque. Driver conveniences include a power-adjustable steering column, a head-up display, and an 8-inch MyLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay.
Power comes from a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 producing 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Z06 also features a rear differential cooler and a multi-mode exhaust system, while the Z07 package adds a specially tuned Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
