Edmunds Cars is back with another exciting U-Drag Race for us! This time it is between the hybrid Corvette E-Ray and the ultra-quick McLaren 750S.
The E-Ray, the latest iteration of the eighth-generation Corvette, combines a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 with a front-axle-mounted electric motor, creating a formidable 650-horsepower all-wheel-drive powerhouse.
On the other hand, the McLaren 750S boasts a lightweight carbon-fiber chassis and is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, generating an impressive 740 hp and 800 Nm of torque.
Take note though that these lightning fast sports cars will be lining up in a unique drag race. The U-Drag Race, as it is called, sees the cars accelerate down the quarter-mile, execute a U-turn, and go back to the finish line. Watch the video to see who is the quickest!
