In 2012, Chevrolet celebrated its 100th anniversary with the Corvette Centennial Edition, a special package available across the Corvette lineup. All examples were finished in Carbon Flash Metallic with Satin Black graphics, complemented by Satin Black multi-spoke alloy wheels highlighted with thin red accent stripes and Centennial Edition center caps.
Red brake calipers and unique Louis Chevrolet “100” logos on the B-pillar and wheels further distinguished the model. The interior was equally exclusive, featuring Ebony leather upholstery with red stitching, microfiber suede inserts on the seats, steering wheel, and shift knob, along with embroidered “100” logos on the headrests.
Currently offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2012 Chevrolet Corvette is one of only 206 Centennial Edition ZR1s produced. Built on the C6 platform, it features a hydroformed aluminum chassis and carbon-fiber bodywork, paired with a High Performance Package that includes a black full-width rear spoiler, exposed carbon-fiber roof, splitter, and side skirts. Additional exterior details include xenon headlights, a clear engine cover, and quad polished exhaust outlets.
Inside, the Centennial Edition ZR1 is equipped with power-adjustable sport seats, a microsuede-wrapped steering wheel with Centennial badging, and the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, which adds heated seats with memory, a Bose audio system, navigation, and a power-adjustable steering column. Convenience features include Keyless Access, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a head-up display.
Performance comes from the 6.2-liter supercharged LS9 V8, delivering 638 horsepower and 604 lb.-ft of torque through a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Advanced internals include titanium connecting rods, forged pistons, and a 2.3-liter Roots-type supercharger. Capable of sprinting to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, the Centennial ZR1 boasts a top speed of 205 mph, further supported by Magnetic Ride Control, speed-sensitive steering, and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
