Even The Ferrari 812 Superfast Is No Match Against The C8 Corvette Z06

YouTube channel DragTimes recently released a video featuring a quarter-mile drag race between a C8 Corvette Z06 and a Ferrari 812 Superfast at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

Both cars have naturally aspirated powertrains, dual-clutch gearboxes, and mid-engine layouts. The Z06 has a V8 engine with 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, while the Ferrari has a V12 engine with 789 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque.

The Z06 wins both races, with consistent trap speeds and a smooth launch control system, finishing the first pass in 10.595 seconds at 128.9 mph and the second pass in 10.525 seconds at 128.15 mph.
