Although this car started life as a factory-built Corvette coupe, the Callaway-designed bodywork transformed this Corvette into a true work of art.  The Callaway-design bodywork is finished in House of Kolor Black Sparkle Pearl (PBC100) over an interior wrapped in Garrett Avion Canyon leather with Alcantara accents. The C16’s exterior features Callaway-designed bodywork that completely reworks the outward appearance of its donor car.  In fact, the C16 only shares the following components with the original C6 coupe: the windows/glass, roof, rear decklid, and door mirrors.  Everything else, including the custom fenders, quarter panels, and front-and-rear fascias, were custom fabricated by Callaway Manufacturing.  This particular Callaway C16 features optional slats in the rear diffuser flanking the center-exit exhaust system.

This C16 sits on optional Dymag 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) wheels that feature magnesium center-sections with carbon fiber barrels.  The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires that show original date codes from 2007.  Stopping power is supplied by Callaway’s optional Le Mans brake package, which includes slotted 355mm rotors and multi-piston calipers. The car’s suspension is equipped with Callaway-Eibach Multi-Pro coilover system with adjustable dampers.

The interior of this beautiful 2007 Corvette Callaway C16 features the Deutschleder interior package with Garrett Avion Canyon leather, Alcantara inserts, and matching carpets.  The car features a number of amenities including dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, the Callaway shifter package, and the factory Bose sound system.  The factory steering wheel has been re-trimmed with an embossed Callaway script on the lower rim.   The car’s dashboard features a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a quartet of auxiliary gauges, which include: fuel, oil pressure, engine temperature, and battery voltage.

Here’s what makes this Callaway Corvette even more desirable – at the time of this posting, it has just 699 miles on the odometer!

While both the exterior and interior of this Callaway C16 make this car a completely unique vehicle unto itself, the powerplant of this Corvette is also a departure from the factory LS2.  While the 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine remains, it is now augmented with the addition of an Eaton/Magnuson roots-type supercharger, an upgraded fuel-system with high-flow injectors, and new rocker-arms and pushrods.  With these upgrades, this C16’s LS2 engine has been increased to a reported 616 horsepower!  The LS2’s engine out is transferred to the rear wheels through a rear-mounted six-speed manual transaxle.

The seller notes that the engine received an oil and filter change in advance of it being listed for sale.

This 2007 Corvette Callaway C16 comes with the original Callaway invoice, a Bloomington Gold Special Collection Grand Finale certificate, a Callaway quick-reference guide from 2008, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.  The original Callaway invoice details the selected colors, options, and modifications made by Callaway.  At the time of purchase, these modifications totaled $138,980, which is in addition to the original purchase price of the 2007 Corvette donor car, which sold for $50,099 from Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield, Michigan.  The September 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history from a single owner in Michigan. An open recall campaign for the low beam headlights is also noted.
