Only CorvSport brings these Corvette wholesale market reports to enthusiasts like you, and we’ve been producing these exclusive dealer-to-dealer bi-monthly reports for 70 weeks now. As a retired used-car dealership owner with 17 years of experience, I’ll provide insights into the market and explain why a Corvette may or may not sell on the wholesale auction block. As with all our exclusive market features, this wholesale market report is FREE and not behind a paywall. If/when any pop-ups appear, please click to dismiss them and continue enjoying the article.
We are currently on our Florida Redemption Tour, and this week’s edition focuses on the eighth-generation Corvette (including two C8 Z06s!), with a sweet C6 Z06 thrown in for fun. We began this series in Florida, where over 16 installments, they yielded a somewhat disappointing 30% successful sales ratio. We decided to turn the heat up and move to the Texas market, and the Lone Star State did not disappoint. From October 2024 to June 2025, Texas sold 69% of the Corvettes we featured. Now it is time for Florida to redeem itself, but the first two weeks have been rocky. How many will sell today?
If this is your first time with us, I developed these exclusive wholesale market reports 70 weeks ago to provide enthusiasts and shoppers with insights into the used C8 market. If you want to check out interesting wholesale trends, especially as we transitioned from the Florida to the Texas market and now back to Florida, you can see all our dealer-to-dealer transaction archives below today’s results.
A Quick Review Of The Process:
In preparation for each installment, I start a list of Corvettes from that week’s runlist that catch my eye. As a retired owner/operator of a used car dealership, I’ll use my 17 years of experience (and industry access) to give you insights into the market. My search is focused on the nation’s largest dealer-only wholesale auction, and all the Corvettes featured are from the Texas or Florida market. Corvettes end up at a dealer-only wholesale auction for many reasons, but most are trade-ins that the dealer decided not to retail on their lot. Some may also be repossessions or coming off leases. It’s also common for dealers to dump problem (or slow-selling) units at an auction.
For Fun (and Insights):
Compare the MMR (estimated wholesale value) to the actual hammer price (if sold). It’s also interesting to compare the wholesale purchase price (if it sells) to the Cox Automotive estimated retail value, as this will give you an idea of the margins used-car dealerships are working with.

Top 7: Wholesale Dealer-Only Auction Activity Report
#7
2008 C6 Z06 Coupe
28,456 Miles
Condition Report: 4.3/5.0
Announcements: None
Autocheck History Report: 4 owners, 0 accidents
MMR: $42,600
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $41,100 (38,578 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: Not available
- Last Year: $37,600 (37,754 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $48,700
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Insights: This was one sweet-looking C6 Z06 that I thought for sure was going to hammer off to a new dealer, especially given the miles, clean history report, and reasonably high condition report. We will chalk this no-sale up to the seller’s reserve being too high.)
#6
2021 C8 Stingray Convertible 3LT
10,788 Miles
Condition Report: 4.9/5.0
Announcements: 3rd Party Seller
Autocheck History Report: 2 owners, 0 accidents
MMR: $71,300
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $68,900 (16,184 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $60,200 (25,160 mi)
- Last Year: $69,600 (17,213 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $73,800
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Insights: This is the first of four Stingrays from BD Auto Liquidators, and they are not off to a good start. Were the Corvette buyers not in full force this week at the Manheim Orlando location, or are the selling dealers trying to get too much money? Stay tuned.)
#5
2021 C8 Stingray Convertible 3LT
4,186 Miles
Condition Report: 4.5/5.0
Announcements:
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
MMR: $73,100
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $68,900 (16,184 average miles)

- Last Year: $69,600 (17,213 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $75,700
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Insights: Another no-sale for BD Auto Liquidators, with another sharp-looking C8 that looks good on paper failing to make its way to a retail lot.)
#4
2022 C8 Stingray Coupe 3LT
32,964 Miles
Condition Report: 4.8/5.0
Announcements: 3rd Party Seller
Autocheck History Report: 2 owners, 1 accident
MMR: $62,400
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $67,700 (14,192 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $68,000 (8,605 mi)
- Last Year: $67,100 (12,956 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $66,200
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $63,000
(Insights: Finally, our first sale! And it was from BD Auto Liquidators, so there was a little bit of redemption — but still not very impressive. We are in a record heat wave here in Florida, so maybe the Corvette buyers stayed at home!)
#3
2023 C8 Stingray Coupe 2LT
4,596 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Announcements:
Autocheck History Report: 2 owners, 0 accidents
MMR: $69,100
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $67,900 (10,633 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $62,200 (13,252 mi)
- Last Year: $68,500 (4,511 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $73,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Insights: The last of four Stingrays from BD Auto Liquidators was a flop, despite looking great in the pictures and on paper. We’ll keep an eye on them in two weeks, but it appears their reserves are too high for the current market.)
#2
2024 C8 Z06 Coupe 3LZ
9,054 Miles
Condition Report: 4.5/5.0
Announcements: None
Autocheck History Report: 2 owners, 0 accidents
MMR: $108,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $117,000 (2,306 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $123,000 (1,899 mi)
- Last Year: $131,000 (601 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $124,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Insights: A bank was selling this C8 Z06, so most likely a repossession. It’s a sharp-looking Vette, so I’m surprised they didn’t let her rip!)
#1
2024 C8 Z06 Convertible 3LZ
2,863 Miles
Condition Report: 4.7/5.0
Announcements:
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
MMR: $122,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $122,000 (3,771 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $124,000 (1,761 mi)
- Last Year: $135,000 (2,966 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $132,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Insights: All those announcements remind me of the dealers I used to see at the Manheim auctions back in the day. It seemed the more announcements they had, the more desperate they were to sell. But, conversely, these dealers also typically had unrealistic reserves.)

Summary: Whoa, Florida’s numbers continue to fall significantly below the hot wholesale market in Texas. With just one sale (14%), we are going backwards–so far, the Florida Redemption Tour is failing. The seller with the most Corvettes, BD Auto Liquidators, had our only sale (they offered four). We’ll give Florida a few more weeks at redemption, then head back to Texas, where the real fun is. Thanks for joining CorvSport today, and we’ll see you in two weeks!
