FOR SALE: 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Edition Coupe

One of only 25 ZR1X specified with the Stars & Steel package

This 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Edition Coupe combines Chevrolet’s most powerful production Corvette architecture with a limited-edition appearance package commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Offered through Mecum Auctions, this example stands out for its black exterior, premium 3LZ specification, and position within the first model year of the ZR1X. Only 270 ZR1X models were produced for 2026, adding significance to this already exclusive configuration.

At the heart of the ZR1X is Chevrolet’s 5.5-liter, twin-turbocharged LT7 V8, paired with a front-mounted electric motor to deliver a combined output of 1,250 horsepower. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission manages power delivery, while an electrically driven front axle provides all-wheel drive.

This configuration represents a substantial departure from the traditional rear-wheel-drive Corvette formula. The electric motor supplements the combustion engine’s output and enables the ZR1X to deploy its power through all four wheels, improving traction during acceleration. Chevrolet has positioned the model at the top of its performance-car range, with a claimed zero-to-60-mph time below two seconds under suitable conditions.

The Stars & Steel package celebrates the United States’ 250th anniversary with patriotic styling details. For the 2026 ZR1X, the special edition was offered in limited exterior and interior combinations, including Black with an Adrenaline Red cabin and Satin Black American flag-inspired graphics.

The package adds exclusive interior identification, distinctive trim details, Edge Red-painted brake calipers, black exhaust tips, and black lug nuts. The ZR1X’s performance-focused proportions are further emphasized by its aggressive aerodynamic hardware and wide stance. The Stars & Steel treatment gives the car a specific commemorative identity without altering the fundamental engineering that distinguishes the ZR1X from other C8 Corvette variants.

The car’s 3LZ specification places it among the most comprehensively equipped versions of the model. Its performance credentials are reinforced by the available ZTK Track Performance Package, which incorporates track-oriented suspension tuning, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires. Carbon-fiber aerodynamic components and high-performance braking hardware further support its capabilities under demanding driving conditions.

The combination of hybrid all-wheel drive, a twin-turbocharged V8, and advanced chassis technology makes the ZR1X a technically significant evolution of the mid-engine Corvette platform. It is engineered to deliver exceptional acceleration while retaining the cooling, aerodynamic management, and chassis control required for sustained high-performance driving.
