Listed for sale on Cars & Bids, this 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe combines the factory-bred performance of the seventh-generation Corvette with an extensive Late Model Racecraft (LMR) engine upgrade package. Finished in Arctic White over a black interior, the car has been modified to produce a claimed 900 horsepower on E85, transforming an already formidable performance machine into a significantly more aggressive track and street weapon.
The C7 Z06 arrived for the 2015 model year as the high-performance flagship of the seventh-generation Corvette range, distinguished by its supercharged V8, advanced chassis technology, and track-focused engineering. In standard specification, its 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 produces 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. According to LMR, the modifications on this example elevate output to approximately 900 horsepower.
Central to the build is LMR’s 900 HP E85 Performance Package, which incorporates a Stage II camshaft package, custom-grind camshaft, CNC-ported LT4 supercharger, chromoly pushrods, titanium double valve springs, LT1/LT4 cylinder-head bolts, a cam-phaser limiter, and DOD delete plugs. The engine also receives a 103-millimeter billet throttle body and stainless-steel long-tube headers.
Supporting modifications include a Roto-Fab Big Gulb cold-air intake, a 9.24-inch supercharger drive damper pulley with a 15-percent reduction, and a C7 flex-fuel system designed to take advantage of ethanol-based fuel. Thermal management has been upgraded with an LMR trunk-mounted ice tank, EMP pump, and enhanced heat exchanger. The catalytic converters have also been removed.
Additional equipment includes 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, Toyo Proxes R888R tires, Xenon HID headlights, a carbon-fiber roof panel, and heated, ventilated, power-adjustable seats. A Bose audio system and P3 Gauges ethanol monitor with an OBD II display round out the notable features.
With its combination of factory Z06 engineering and substantial aftermarket hardware, this Corvette represents a highly modified interpretation of the C7 platform, emphasizing extreme power delivery and ethanol-fueled performance.
