Today, we have an epic race between two American icons: Corvette and the Ford GT. These cars have etched their names in the automotive industry and will forever have a special place in the hearts of many car enthusiasts around the globe.
The new Corvette Z06 comes with a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 engine producing 670 hp and 460 lb. ft. of torque. It’s a European-inspired supercar but with a more affordable price tag. On one side, is an American sports car that honors Ford’s achievements by beating out the Europeans back in the 1960s: the 2020 Ford GT Carbon Series. The outgoing Ford GT is a beast on its own right. It comes with a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 which puts down 660 hp and 550 lb. ft. of torque.
We don’t want to spoil you the results of the battle between these two supercars, so we suggest that you watch the video as the folks from Throttle House put these two American engineering marvels to the test!
