This is the 55th installment of our exclusive wholesale market reports, and since 2/29/2024, we’ve been pulling back the curtain on dealer-only Corvette lanes like no one else. Today’s Dallas run brings a tightly curated Top 7 Spotlight backed by a full field of 38 Corvettes crossing the block. All eyes are on SuperSeller Texas Auto Value (TAV), which owns the entire Top 7—seven swings, one dealer, and a clean test of consistency at scale.
Our in-house dealer continues to sharpen the edge here, blending real lane strategy with enthusiast-level awareness to identify what actually moves metal. With 17 years spent grinding in the wholesale trenches, our CorvSport insider translates raw auction chaos into clear, actionable insight. For enthusiasts tracking the market, this isn’t just data—it’s early intelligence. These lanes often tip the hand weeks before retail pricing reacts, offering a rare edge whether you’re lining up your next buy or timing a sale.
Manheim’s First 1LZ ZR1 Meets A Near-Perfect Field
We are excited to highlight the first 1LZ C8 ZR1 rolling across the block at Manheim. Since the C8 ZR1’s release, just 14 examples have crossed the country’s largest dealer-only wholesale lanes—and every single one has been a 3LZ. The very first sale? On 8/7/2025, a 3LZ Convertible brought a staggering $391,000 at the hammer. Now the question shifts: will a 1LZ break through? Surrounding it is a near-flawless lineup. Every one of our Top 7 is accident-free, most are one-owner cars, and the condition reports are razor sharp—five scoring a perfect 5.0, with the remaining two right behind at 4.9. The only wrinkle comes from a strategic pivot: a higher mileage ’22 Stingray pushing nearly 32k miles, replacing our prior “imperfection” experiment. This week isn’t about flaws—it’s about precision, discipline, and just how close to perfect the market is willing to pay for.
Momentum Meets Market Reality In Dallas
We roll into this week riding serious momentum. Our Top 7 Spotlight has delivered three consecutive 100% sell-through performances—a rare run considering we’ve only recorded seven perfect spotlights in over two years. That kind of streak doesn’t happen by accident. Zooming out, the Dallas lanes continue to show strength with some volatility: 68.8% sell-through on 2/20/2026 (22 of 32), surging to 91.4% on 3/06/2026 (32 of 35), then settling at 82.35% on 3/19/2026 (28 of 34). Across the full sample, we’re looking at 365 total units with 264 sold—a solid 72.3% overall conversion rate. Generation mix tells its own story: C8 dominates with 139 sales, followed by C7 at 82, then a sharp drop to C6 (27), with legacy generations trailing—C5 (6), C4 (5), C3 (5), and no movement from C2 or C1. The takeaway? Modern inventory continues to drive the lanes, while the classics head to Mecum and Barrett-Jackson.
Can our Top 7 extend the perfect streak? We’ve got the full breakdown, big-picture analysis, and over two years of archives waiting below—let’s get after it.
[4/03/2026 Edition]
Top 7 Spotlight: Wholesale Dealer-Only Auction Activity Report
#7 — 2022 C8 Stingray Coupe 2LT
31,780 Miles
Condition Report: 4.9/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 2 owners, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $59,900
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $62,800 (16,947 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $60,500 (19,855 mi)
- Last Year: $64,800 (16,195 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $60,900
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $58,000
(Dealer Insights: TAV hammers its first, which was well bought at $1,900 under MMR. The higher miles and structural alteration announcement did not scare bidders away, and the buying dealer will have a nice unit on their lot.)
#6 — 2023 C8 Stingray Coupe 2LT
11,326 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $67,400
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $66,600 (11,913 average miles)

- Last Year: $67,800 (6,781 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $70,400
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $66,750
(Dealer Insights: This “resell-red” beauty checked off all the boxes, except for that high-wing enthusiasts love. This C8 will grab attention at its new retail lot, with decent margins for the selling dealer.)
#5 — 2023 C8 Stingray Coupe 3LT
6,961 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $72,400
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $70,300 (11,628 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $67,800 (8,007 mi)
- Last Year: $71,600 (7,143 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $75,600
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $72,750
(Dealer Insights: As TAV hammers its third Stingray, I’m drawn to how steady historical values have been since last year, with today’s wholesale price actually hammering higher than 12 months’ worth of sales. This is a true testament to the staying power of the C8.)
#4 — 2023 C8 Stingray Convertible 2LT
3,741 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $73,400
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $70,000 (12,260 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $68,700 (8,308 mi)
- Last Year: $70,000 (8,107 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $76,100
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $74,250
(Dealer Insights: Whoa… Here is yet another Stingray whose value has increased over the past year. This one edged right past MMR and is hugging the estimated retail, but these dealers today are fearless! This indicates that the used C8s are moving fast off the retail lots.)
#3 — 2025 C8 Z06 Convertible 2LZ
1,458 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $120,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $119,000 (2,518 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: Not available due to limited transaction data
- Last Year: Not available
Estimated Retail Value: $127,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $125,500
(Dealer Insights: This beautiful Z06 flew right past MMR, to the tune of $5,500, likely due to the desirable options and a handful of dealers duking it out. But, not to worry, as these C8 Z06s are still red hot, and with ZR1 prices hovering around $200,000, this 670 hp beast is a bargain.)
#2 — 2026 C8 Stingray Coupe 1LT
1,396 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 0 owners, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $69,200
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $69,100 (1,436 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $70,400 (1,206 mi)
- Last Year: Not available
Estimated Retail Value: $70,600
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $67,750
(Dealer Insights: This is our first deal of the day, at $1,450 under MMR, and TAV’s sixth straight sale! The margins are tight, though, versus what one can buy a brand new 2026 1LT Stingray for–maybe that high wing will help close the deal.)
#1 — 2026 C8 ZR1 Coupe 1LZ
848 Miles
Condition Report: 4.9/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: Not Available due to limited transaction data
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: Not available
- 6 Months Ago: Not available
- Last Year: Not available
Estimated Retail Value: Not Available
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $212,500
(Dealer Insights: And there you have it, a perfect 7 for 7 from TAV, with Manheim’s first 1LZ ZR1 hammering off to a new dealer. Considering the $391,000 from their very first ZR1 wholesale hammer, it’s clear the crazy markups have settled down.)
The Final Word
How about that? Another flawless Top 7 Spotlight—now FOUR straight perfect sweeps—and a clean 7-for-7 performance from SuperSeller TAV. So is our resident dealer just catching lightning in a bottle, or is there something more calculated at play? Especially when you consider the curveballs, with the last two installments geared towards imperfect C8s. He intentionally leaned into Corvettes with accidents, higher mileage, and less-than-perfect condition reports. This week flips the script back to precision, and Dallas answered the same way it has all month: with relentless demand. The scoreboard backs it up, too—32 of 38 Corvettes sold, an impressive 84.2% sell-through that reinforces just how active these lanes remain.
High Miles, No Fear: Dallas Still Steps Up
That higher-mileage ’22 Stingray we teased? It showed exactly why Dallas continues to defy expectations. With 31,780 miles, a 4.9 condition score, and even a structural alteration announcement, this was the kind of car that used to give buyers pause. Not here. Hammering at $58,000—$1,900 under MMR—it was, in our dealer’s words, “well bought… the higher miles and structural alteration announcement did not scare bidders away, and the buying dealer will have a nice unit on their lot.” That’s the market right now: disciplined buyers, yes—but still fully engaged. Even the “outliers” are getting absorbed quickly and confidently.
Stability Over Speculation: The C8 Narrative Holds Firm
If there’s a myth to put to rest this week, it’s the idea that the used C8 market is slipping. The data—and more importantly, the lane behavior—say otherwise. Take the ’23 3LT Stingray: pristine, low miles, and it delivered a $72,750 hammer. That’s not just healthy—that’s telling. As our dealer put it, “I’m drawn to how steady historical values have been since last year, with today’s wholesale price actually hammering higher than 12 months’ worth of sales. This is a true testament to the staying power of the C8.” Let that sink in. Higher than last year. In a market some are calling “soft.” Dallas isn’t whispering—it’s answering that narrative head-on.
Values Climbing, Not Crashing: Retail Pressure Is Real
And then came the biggest statement of the day. Another ’23 Stingray—this time a 2LT Convertible with just 3,741 miles—pushes to $74,250, clearing MMR and pressing right up against estimated retail. That’s not normal behavior in a cooling market. That’s urgency. That’s confidence. That’s dealers buying like they know inventory won’t sit. The reaction from the lane said it all: “Whoa… yet another Stingray whose value has increased over the past year… these dealers today are fearless!” That one line captures the pulse perfectly. Not only are our Top 7s red hot, not only is Dallas firing—but select C8 trims are actually appreciating. That’s the story.
A New ZR1 Benchmark And A Red-Hot Dallas Takeaway
And we close with history: the first 1LZ C8 ZR1 to cross the Manheim wholesale lanes. No comps, no safety net—just raw market discovery. The result? A $212,500 hammer. A far cry from the eye-watering $391,000 debut sale of the first ZR1, but that’s the point. As our dealer summed it up: “And there you have it, a perfect 7 for 7 from TAV, with Manheim’s first 1LZ ZR1 hammering off to a new dealer. Considering the $391,000 from their very first ZR1 wholesale hammer, it’s clear the crazy markups have settled down.” The frenzy has normalized—but the demand hasn’t disappeared.
That’s the final word: Dallas isn’t cooling—it’s maturing, stabilizing, and in many cases, strengthening. The C8 market, especially in the lanes, is proving resilient, calculated, and in select trims, quietly climbing. Four straight perfect Top 7s. 84.2% sell-through. Values holding—and even rising. If you’re still waiting for a crash, Dallas just sent another message: don’t hold your breath.
