While the classic Chevrolet Corvette is admired for its styling and heritage, newer models offer far better comfort and safety. Classic Reflection Coachworks (CRC) of Lakewood, Washington, combined both by building retro-style Corvette bodies from fiberglass and carbon fiber mounted on modern Corvette platforms with updated interiors, drivetrains, and safety systems. The result is a vintage-looking Corvette with modern reliability and performance.
This particular example listed for sale on SBX Cars is a 2013 Chevrolet Corvette from the C6 generation, reimagined with a hand-formed carbon fiber body inspired by the 1967 Stingray. The car retains its C6 interior and safety features, including factory airbags, crash protection, and a convertible top.
Finished in ‘Torch Red’ with a painted ‘Stinger’ hood, it rides on retro-style turbine knock-off wheels and Continental Sport Contact 7 tires. The original exhaust system remains intact, with European-spec Hella headlights completing the look.
Inside, the C6 cabin has been refined in Switzerland with Alcantara upholstery, red stitching, embroidery, and color accents. A removable wind deflector branded with the ‘427’ logo adds detail. Modern amenities include a Pioneer multimedia unit, navigation DVD, rearview camera, and intercom system.
Under the hood, it retains the factory drivetrain, including the original 6.2L LS3 V8 engine, which produces 430 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
