Today, we’re pulling enthusiasts back behind the curtain for another deep dive into the dealer-only wholesale lanes—this time with an edition devoted entirely to the eighth-generation Corvette Z06. We didn’t plan on running back-to-back Z06 features, but Dallas forced our hand. The lanes were flooded with C8 Z06s this week, and when the market speaks this loudly, CorvSport listens. This marks installment No. 51 since we launched our exclusive wholesale market reports on February 29, 2024, continuing our mission to show where real Corvette values are set long before these cars ever sparkle under retail showroom lights.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting. The 2023–2026 C8 Corvette Z06 stands as one of the most visceral performance machines Chevrolet has ever unleashed, powered by the 5.5L LT6 naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V8. With 670 horsepower at 8,400 rpm, 460 lb-ft of torque at 6,300 rpm, and an 8,600 rpm redline, this high-revving machine remains the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8 in history. This is not just another Corvette—it’s a sensory overload masterpiece, and watching how these cars trade hands in dealer-only environments tells us far more about the market than any retail listing ever could.
Dealer-Only Access, Dealer-Level Insight
Guiding us through today’s chaos is CorvSport’s in-house market authority—a retired used-car dealership owner with 17 years of real-world buying and selling experience. He’s lived these lanes, written the checks, and taken the risks. Throughout this report, his dealer insights cut through the noise after every Top 7 result, explaining not just what sold, but why dealers stepped up—or stepped back—when real money was on the line.
A Top 7 Flooded With C8 Z06s
Today’s Top 7 Spotlight reads like a case study in modern Z06 supply. GM Financial is unloading five C8 Z06s, including a 2024 model showing a “staggering” 23,575 miles—eye-opening mileage for a Z06—and four 2025 examples ranging from a relatively high 11,222 miles down to a barely broken-in 529 clicks. The big question: will GM Financial come ready to sell, or will they test the lanes with ambitious expectations?
Supersellers Enter The Arena
Balancing the GM Financial volume is our familiar heavyweight, GiveMeTheVin (GMTV), bringing two 2023 C8 Z06s, both with under 3,500 miles. One of them adds extra intrigue: a 70th Anniversary Edition Z06, a limited-production celebration featuring exclusive styling, White Pearl Metallic or Carbon Flash Metallic paint, red accents, and unique numbered badging. Pseudo-collectible? Absolutely. How the lanes react will be telling.
Is The Z06 Market Heating Up—Or Hesitating?
Just two weeks ago, three of five spotlighted C8 Z06s sold, hinting that the market was finding its footing again. Has momentum carried forward, or was that a temporary bounce? With seven eighth-gen Z06s under the microscope today, the answer is about to reveal itself—hammer by hammer.
The Bigger Dallas Picture
Beyond the Top 7, CorvSport continues its exclusive tracking of Corvette sales by generation in Dallas. The C8 leads the pack, but by how much? How are C7s, C6s, C5s, and older generations really performing in a dealer-only environment that historically favors newer inventory? Our expanded data shows exactly why seeing older Corvettes here is the exception, not the rule—and what that means for market trends.
Trending Up Or Cooling Off?
This week, Dallas offered 39 Corvettes. How many will sell? Two weeks ago, 28 were offered and 21 sold, a strong showing. Zooming out even further, since October 23, 2025, Dallas has moved 149 of 225 Corvettes, a 66.2% sales rate. Is the wholesale market building momentum as 2026 unfolds—or starting to level off? The answers are waiting just below as we dive into today’s Z06-heavy results.

Top 7 Spotlight: Wholesale Dealer-Only Auction Activity Report
#7 — 2023 C8 Z06 Coupe 3LZ 70th Anniversary
3,110 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 3 owners, 0 accidents
Announcements:
MMR: $108,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $108,000 (3,934 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $112,000 (6,630 mi)
- Last Year: $123,000 (5,708 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $115,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $110,500
(Dealer Insights: GMTV comes out of the gate strong and hammers its first Z06. It’s worth noting that the Manheim MMR and estimated retail are based on the non-70th 3LZ trim, so there is some built-in value for the selling dealer on this special edition C8.)
#6 — 2023 C8 Z06 Convertible 3LZ
2,068 Miles
Condition Report: 4.9/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 2 owners, 1 accident
Announcements:
MMR: $112,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $111,000 (5,200 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $122,000 (5,597 mi)
- Last Year: $119,000 (3,815 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $121,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $112,000
(Dealer Insights: GMTV hammers its second and last Z06 offering, and it was sold “right on the money,” despite the accident and Carfax caution. This is likely due to all the carbon fiber tidbits and GMTV’s propensity to “sell them all!”)
#5 — 2024 C8 Z06 Convertible 1LZ
23,575 Miles
Condition Report: 4.9/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements: Silver Certified
MMR: $87,100
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $94,400 (12,019 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: Not available (due to limited transaction data)
- Last Year: $112,000 (6,533 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $95,900
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $89,200
(Dealer Insights: The higher miles did not turn off bidding dealers, as this clean 1-owner Z06 cleared the MMR by $2,100. And that was an MMR that had already taken a $7,970 hit for the miles. Maybe GM Financial did come ready to sell.)
#4 — 2025 C8 Z06 Convertible 3LZ
11,222 Miles
Condition Report: 4.7/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements: Silver Certified
MMR: $115,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $126,000 (2,446 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $136,000 (3,658 mi)
- Last Year: $145,000 (65 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $120,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: NO SALE
(Dealer Insights: It’s likely the 11k miles for a one-year-old Z06 was just too much for dealers to overcome, especially when paired with a not-so-perfect 4.7/5.0 condition report.)
#3 — 2025 C8 Z06 Convertible 3LZ
3,500 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements: Silver Certified
MMR: $120,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $126,000 (2,446 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $136,000 (3,658 mi)
- Last Year: $145,000 (65 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $125,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $133,250
(Dealer Insights: GM Financial hammers its second Z, with a baffling price that’s $13,350 above MMR. The hammer price also flew right past the estimated retail, so I hope this dealer has a plan.)
#2 — 2025 C8 Z06 Coupe 3LZ
617 Miles
Condition Report: 4.9/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements: Silver Certified
MMR: $114,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $125,000 (1,524 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $127,000 (2,136 mi)
- Last Year: $130,000 (670 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $122,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $133,750
(Dealer Insights: Here is another head-scratcher, with this 3LZ Coupe blasting past MMR and the estimated retail. It’s likely the added options, not typically reflected in Manheim’s numbers, are the cause for these last two bidding anomalies.)
#1 — 2025 C8 Z06 Coupe 3LZ
529 Miles
Condition Report: 5.0/5.0
Autocheck History Report: 1 owner, 0 accidents
Announcements: Silver Certified
MMR: $115,000
(MMR=estimated wholesale value, based on vehicle, miles, condition, and recent auction sales)
Historical Wholesale Averages
- Past 30 Days: $125,000 (1,524 average miles)
- 6 Months Ago: $127,000 (2,136 mi)
- Last Year: $130,000 (670 mi)
Estimated Retail Value: $122,000
(Based on Cox Automotive retail transactions)
Auction Results: Sold for $125,000
(Dealer Insights: And just for good measure, GM Financial’s final spotlight sale once again blows past Manheim’s estimations. We’ll chalk this one up to factory options not reflected in the numbers.)
The CorvSport Takeaway
The verdict is in, and it’s loud. Installment 51 delivered a clear answer to the question we posed at the top of this story: the eighth-generation Z06 wholesale market isn’t hesitating—it’s accelerating. Six of our seven spotlighted C8 Z06s found new dealer homes, an 85.7% success rate, with both of GMTV’s cars selling, and GM Financial hammering four of its five offerings. The lone miss—a 2025 Z06 with 11,222 miles from GM Financial—was the exception, not the rule. Taken together, this was one of the strongest single-lane Z06 performances we’ve seen, and it reinforces what the dealer-only lanes have been telling us quietly for weeks: Dallas is heating up well ahead of the summer buying season, and the mid-engine Z06 continues to carry serious weight when real money is on the line.
Dallas Just Flipped The Script
The bigger picture is what has dealers nationwide paying attention. This week, 33 of the 39 Corvettes offered in Dallas sold, an extraordinary 84.6% sales rate. That number doesn’t just beat our long-term Dallas average of 68.9%—it obliterates it. In fact, this is the highest single-week success percentage since CorvSport began tracking total Dallas Corvette sales. The trend line is unmistakable: Dallas is trending up, momentum is building, and wholesale confidence is returning faster than many expected at the start of 2026.
Why Newer Generations Rule The Lanes
The generational breakdown explains why. Of the 182 Corvettes sold in Dallas since 10/23/2025, a commanding 82 were C8s and 64 were C7s, meaning over three-quarters of all sales came from just two modern generations. The C6 added 22 sales, while the C5, C4, and C3 combined for only 14 total. Zero C2s. Zero C1s. This dovetails perfectly with what we noted in the introduction: dealer-only wholesale auctions are built for newer inventory. Classics and antiques still shine—but they do so at venues like Mecum and Barrett-Jackson, not in the fast-moving, margin-driven wholesale lanes of Dallas.
The individual stories closed the loop beautifully. GMTV’s rare 2023 Z06 70th Anniversary Edition delivered as expected, selling for $110,500, with our dealer noting that “the Manheim MMR and estimated retail are based on the non-70th 3LZ trim, so there is some built-in value for the selling dealer on this special edition C8.” Even the high-mileage headline-maker found a buyer: the 2024 Z06 Convertible with 23,575 miles sold for $89,200, a rare sub-$90k Z06 at auction. As our dealer insight put it, “that was an MMR that had already taken a $7,970 hit for the miles,” yet bidding still pushed it $2,100 over MMR. That combination—strong sell-through, rising Dallas momentum, and buyers looking past mileage for the right price—tells us exactly how 2026 is starting: confident, competitive, and firmly in the Z06’s favor.
