Three Influential People in the World of the Corvette

The National Corvette Museum recently named the 2019 inductees to the Corvette Hall of Fame. The three people awarded the honor this year all come from different walks of life and connect with the Corvette in different ways. With that said, their impact was felt by Chevrolet, the automotive industry, and, most importantly, the world of the Corvette. They’ve definitely earned their place in the Hall of Fame.

Dollie Cole will be honored in the category of enthusiast for her strong support of the Corvette and her work in the automotive industry alongside her husband Ed Cole, who was the President of General Motors. In the racing category, the Museum will honor Briggs Cunningham for his work with the Corvette and his racing team’s success at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The final inductee is Tom Peters in the GM/Chevrolet category. Tom worked on several generations of Corvettes and some special edition cars for Chevrolet.

The Museum will hold the celebration of these three people at the 22nd Annual Corvette Hall of Fame Ceremony. It will take place as a part of the Museum’s 25th Anniversary Celebration August 28 to 31, 2019. The celebration is still several months away. We’ll have more information on each inductee like we did last year and a closer look at the celebration itself at a later date. Until then, we’ll keep you posted of any important updates.
