Throughout the history of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, the ZR1 badge has consistently represented the pinnacle of performance—the fastest and most powerful Corvette of its time—and this newest iteration proudly upholds that legacy.
At its heart lies a mid-mounted, twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter LT7 V8, complete with a flat-plane crankshaft, secondary port fuel injection, and precisely CNC-machined ports and combustion chambers. Boosted to as much as 20 psi, the engine produces an astonishing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque straight from the factory.
Currently listed on Bring a Trailer, this 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible is finished in black with a black and Adrenaline Red leather interior. It features an eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle, an electronic limited-slip differential, a power-folding hardtop, rear spoiler, staggered 20- and 21-inch forged alloy wheels, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and a front-axle lift system.
Visually, it makes no attempt to be subtle. Built upon the mid-engine C8 platform and evolving the already extreme Z06, the ZR1 adds larger air intakes, an active front splitter, and a prominent rear wing. With the available ZTK package, it can generate around 1,200 pounds of downforce—figures more commonly associated with GT3 race cars.
While its styling may be polarizing, every detail is function-driven. It combines a high-revving character with immense low-end torque, delivering a driving experience that’s both thrilling and adaptable. The performance numbers are equally remarkable: 0–60 mph in roughly 2.2 seconds, a quarter-mile time near 9.5 seconds, and a top speed beyond 250 mph.
Notable options include the Stealth Interior Trim Package, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and a 12.7-inch touchscreen running Chevrolet Infotainment 3.
