The C8 ZR1 debuted in July 2024 as the first production Corvette to feature twin turbochargers. Mounted mid-ship, its 5.5-liter LT7 V8 uses a flat-plane crankshaft, CNC-ported intake runners and combustion chambers, and a supplemental port fuel-injection system. The twin turbos generate up to 20 psi of boost, delivering a factory-rated 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque.
Watch as Hennessey Performance Engineering President Alex Roys push a stock 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Coupe fitted with the ZTK Performance Package to the limit at Circuit of the Americas. Despite less-than-ideal weather and track conditions, the car records an impressive 2:13 lap time.
With no modifications, the run underscores the ZR1’s factory-engineered capability. The video captures Roys pushing the car to its limits on one of the world’s most demanding circuits, showcasing its composure, aerodynamic grip, braking strength, and straight-line speed. It’s a straightforward demonstration of what the 2026 ZR1 can achieve in stock form—driven flat-out and timed without excuses.
