The final front-engine Corvette, the C7 ZR1, marked the end of an era with staggering performance. Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT5 V8, it produced 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque, launching from 0–60 mph in 3 seconds and running the quarter mile in 10.8 seconds at 135 mph.
Capable of 212 mph, it paired brute force with precision: adaptive suspension, massive carbon-ceramic brakes, aggressive aero, and electronics delivering 1.18g on the skidpad. Limited to 2,953 units for 2019—2,441 coupes and 512 convertibles—the C7 ZR1 remains a ferocious, collectible send-off to Corvette’s front-engine legacy.
One of these, a 2019 ZR1 coupe, is currently offered for sale on Bring a Trailer and is a near-perfect example with just 779 miles. Built on an aluminum chassis, it houses the LT5 paired with a 7-speed manual, electronic differential, dry-sump oiling, and race-bred cooling. The Track Performance Package enhances dynamics with stiffer suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and carbon-flash wheels.
Visually, the Sebring Orange Design Package brings matching accents from brake calipers to interior stitching, complemented by bronze aluminum trim. Optional carbon fiber aero, including the high-mount wing and splitter, sharpens its presence.
Inside, the 3ZR Equipment Group loads luxury and tech: carbon fiber interior elements, navigation, data recorder, Bose surround audio, Apple CarPlay, heated/ventilated seats, and more. With its rarity, condition, and specification, this ZR1 exemplifies the ultimate evolution of the front-engine Corvette.
