To close out production of the seventh-generation Corvette, Chevrolet unleashed the most powerful and technologically sophisticated production Corvette ever built. Producing more than 750 horsepower and packed with extensive performance upgrades, the C7 ZR1 has lost none of its allure—even after the arrival of the mid-engine 2020 C8—made all the more compelling by production reportedly limited to fewer than 3,000 coupes and convertibles combined.
Powering the C7 ZR1 is the formidable LT5 6.2-liter V-8, the highest-output engine ever installed in a Chevrolet production car. Its headline figures—755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque—are achieved through an enlarged, intercooled supercharger offering 52 percent more displacement than the Z06’s LT4 unit, paired with either a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Offered for sale on Sotheby’s Motorsport, this example is exceptionally well specified and barely driven example, showing just 82 miles from new. Finished in striking Sebring Orange over Jet Black leather with orange contrast stitching Equipment highlights include the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, enhancing the cabin with extended leather, premium materials, advanced infotainment, Bose audio, and comprehensive performance data systems, along with the Sebring Orange Design Group.
The ZR1 Performance Package adds Magnetic Ride Control, performance exhaust, massive carbon-ceramic brakes, and aggressive carbon-fiber aerodynamics, while the optional eight-speed automatic completes the specification.
