SBX Cars is offering a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Widebody coupe showing just 4,330 miles at the time of cataloging. Built by Southern California–based Ivan Tampi Customs, the car features the company’s in-house XIK Widebody package.
Known for high-end carbon-fiber upgrades for the C7 Corvette, Ivan Tampi’s work has become prominent in the Corvette restyling scene. This example is number 8 of only 100 produced with the XIK Widebody kit and comes finished in Emerald Green over a black leather and microsuede interior.
The car is equipped with a LT1 6.2-liter V8 that has been fitted with a Vortech V-3 supercharger along with Callies I-beam rods, a four-inch crankshaft, Mahle pistons, larger fuel injectors, and an upgraded LT4 fuel system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission, delivering a more engaging driving experience.
With low mileage and a limited-production widebody conversion, this Corvette stands out as both a collector-worthy custom build and a serious performance machine. It has also appeared at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas three times, highlighting its show-car credentials.
