When Chevrolet brought back the ZR1 in 2009, it introduced one of the most advanced performance cars of its time. It featured a supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V8 producing 638 horsepower, paired with a dry-sump oil system and a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance figures were impressive: 0–60 mph in about 3.4 seconds, 0–100 mph in 7.6 seconds, and a top speed between 195–205 mph.
The example listed on Bring a Trailer has only 9 miles on the odometer and has been kept in a private collection by its original owner. It features a Black exterior with an Ebony leather interior and includes the 3ZR Package, which features perforated inserts.
Beyond performance, it’s equipped with a Delco-Bose audio system with SiriusXM, navigation, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, power telescoping steering wheel, Magnetic Ride Control, and Active Handling.
Design highlights include a visible carbon fiber roof, roof bow, front splitter, and rocker panels, along with painted carbon fiber hood, fenders, and floor panels. It rides on 19″ and 20″ multi-spoke alloy wheels with high-performance tires.
