Now listed on Collecting Cars, this eye-catching Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible has been transformed into a thoroughly modernized American roadster through an extensive restomod build. Beneath the bonnet sits a tuned 6.0-liter LS2 V8, producing around 300 horsepower at the rear wheels, paired with a six-speed T56 Magnum manual transmission.
Originally delivered in the United States, the car was imported to Australia in July 2008 and has undergone a meticulous six-year, body-off restoration, featuring a documented “nut and bolt” rebuild with wide-ranging mechanical and cosmetic upgrades.
Finished in Le Mans Blue with a white soft top over a black interior, the cabin incorporates Alcantara accents and modern touches throughout. It rides on 15-inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Features include pop-up headlights, upgraded projector lighting with LED elements, a Nardi steering wheel, Auto Meter gauges, Vintage Air climate control, and an Alpine audio system with Bluetooth.
Performance enhancements extend to a strengthened drivetrain, rebuilt limited-slip differential, upgraded suspension with Bilstein dampers, and Wilwood brakes. Additional improvements include revised steering, improved cooling, a fully rewired electrical system, and modern conveniences such as keyless start.
