DragTimes on YouTube has returned with another head-to-head showdown featuring the C8 Corvette ZR1. In earlier matchups at Orlando Speed World, the ZR1 went up against the Lamborghini Revuelto, Tesla Model S Plaid, and Porsche 911 Turbo S.
Now, it’s lining up against a modified McLaren 750S making 1,000-hp, and it’s also equipped with active aero and weighs at least 800 lbs lighter than the ZR1. The Arctic White ZR1 is equipped with the full ZTK carbon package, a massive rear wing, and a striking black-and-blue interior. At the wheels, it’s making over 1,000 horsepower.
Both cars looked evenly matched on paper, but things got interesting on the strip. The ZR1 proved vicious off the line, its launch control giving it a clear advantage through the 60-foot mark. The McLaren, however, clawed back with ferocious top-end power, consistently reaching higher speeds—around 155–156 mph, compared to the Corvette’s mid-140s — allowing it to win all three races.
