Though often overlooked in the "best of" categories for Corvette - the third, fourth, and fifth generation Corvettes all contributed to the car's advancement from boulevard cruiser to a bonafide super car. The C3 gave birth to the iconic Corvette styling that still exists today, the C4, became the first car to focus on handling and cornering versus just straight line acceleration, and the fifth generation Corvette took all the lessons learned from the past and introduced us to a car that was a genuine performer, which gave rise to the Corvette Racing program in the late 90s.
