Offered for auction at Bonhams Cars’ The Audrain Auction on October 3 with an estimated value of up to $180,000, this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 represents the pinnacle of the final front-engine generation.
Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT5 V8 topped with a 2.65-liter blower, the ZR1 delivers 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. Its dual fuel-injection system combines direct and port injection, while the exposed carbon-fiber hood emphasizes the car’s aggressive character.
Performance figures remain formidable: 0–60 mph in 3 seconds, a quarter mile in 10.8 seconds at 135 mph, and a top speed of 212 mph. Supporting this output are carbon-ceramic brakes, advanced suspension, aerodynamic enhancements, and electronic aids that allow 1.18g cornering and braking from 70 mph to zero in 134 feet.
Built for only one model year, Chevrolet produced 2,953 examples of the C7 ZR1, split between 2,441 Coupes and 512 Convertibles. This example is finished in Sebring Orange with Jet Black leather, accented by orange stitching, and is one of only 56 specified in this combination.
Options include the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, Sebring Orange Design Group, ZTK Track Performance Package, Carbon Fiber Roof Package, and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Delivered new to MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, New Hampshire in August 2018, it remained in Vermont for over 5,000 miles before moving to Illinois in 2022.
Acquired by the current owner later that year with 6,455 miles, it has since covered just 60 additional miles. It is offered without reserve and comes with a clean CARFAX, books, a car cover, and floor mats.
