When Chevrolet unveiled the C8-generation Corvette Z06 for the 2023 model year, it marked a dramatic shift in America’s sports car legacy. The front-engine Vette was gone. In its place stood a mid-engine machine, bred with tech from Corvette Racing and powered by the highest-horsepower naturally aspirated V8 ever dropped into a production car. For 2024, that same formula continues with no major updates, no need for one. The Z06 remains a visceral, high-revving anomaly in an era of downsizing and forced induction. =

The Overview
The 2024 model year made the mid-engine Corvette a range. Chevrolet revealed the E-Ray on January 17, 2023 — seventy years to the day after the 1953 Corvette’s Motorama debut — as the first hybrid and the first all-wheel-drive Corvette: the Stingray’s 495-horsepower LT2 driving the rear wheels, a 160-horsepower electric motor over the front axle driving the fronts with no mechanical link between them, a 1.9-kWh battery in the tunnel charged by the engine and by braking, 655 horsepower together and, by GM’s figures, 2.5 seconds to 60 mph and 10.5 at 130 in the quarter — a tenth quicker than the Z06 — in the Z06’s wide body with its 20 and 21-inch wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes and Magnetic Ride standard, on the first all-season tires fitted to a Corvette. It cost $104,495 as a 1LZ coupe when prices were confirmed in July 2023 and $106,595 after the October increase, $7,000 more as a convertible; production began on the night of December 11, 2023, two months late, and 1,417 were built in the model year — 599 coupes and 818 convertibles, 977 of them 3LZs, 874 with the $500 ZER package.
The Stingray and Z06 changed little. Three colors came in — Riptide Blue Metallic, Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat and Cacti Green — for Elkhart Lake Blue, White Pearl and Caffeine, Carbon Flash Metallic was opened to every trim, a deep-green Artemis Dipped interior was offered for the one year, a Tech Bronze accent package and Jake graphics arrived, and forward-collision alert, lane-keep assist, following-distance indicator and automatic high beams became standard. Prices rose twice before the first car: $1,800 to $3,300 over 2023 in July 2023 and another $2,100 on every Corvette for orders from October 2, to $69,995 for a Stingray 1LT coupe, $111,795 for a Z06 1LZ and $106,595 for an E-Ray 1LZ, including a $1,695 destination charge. Bowling Green built 30,942 Stingrays (18,139 coupes, 12,803 convertibles, 55 percent with Z51) and 10,575 Z06s (5,327 and 5,248, 2,715 with Z07) — 42,934 cars in all between September 18, 2023 and early September 2024, the second-biggest C8 year.
An Arctic White E-Ray 3LZ coupe paced the 108th Indianapolis 500 on May 26, 2024 with Ken Griffey Jr. driving — the twenty-first Corvette pace car and the eighth year running — and the first E-Ray, VIN 001, had brought $1.1 million for DonorsChoose from Rick Hendrick at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach a year before. On the track the C8.R and the factory program were gone: Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports ran the new customer Z06 GT3.R in IMSA GTD Pro, AWA ran one in GTD, TF Sport took two to the World Endurance Championship, and the car’s first win came at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 14, 2024 — Garcia and Sims from pole, Milner and Catsburg second, a Corvette one-two — on the way to fifth and sixth in the points and eleven customer wins across the series.
The 2024 Corvette Story
Five model years into the mid-engine Corvette, 2024 was the year the C8 became a range: three cars where there had been one, with the E-Ray slotted between the Stingray and the Z06 — and 42,934 of them built, the second-biggest C8 year after 2023. Whether you’re a track regular, a weekend cruiser, or just someone who loves a loud V8, there’s a version of the Corvette that’ll probably speak to you.
The Stingray and Z06 changed little — three new colors, an interior color, a bronze accent package, standard driver-assistance features and a $2,100 price rise in October — and the news was the E-Ray: the first hybrid in Corvette history and the first with all-wheel drive, revealed on the car’s seventieth birthday and built from December 2023, 1,417 of them in the model year.
Three cars in the fifth year
Since its debut, the C8 Corvette has redefined the American sports car formula. Moving the engine behind the driver wasn’t just a design choice; it transformed how the car drives, handles, and competes. The value is still there — a 1LT coupe was $69,995 after the October increase — but the Z06 and the E-Ray put the car in Porsche and McLaren company at $110,000 to $150,000.
For 2024, the core lineup remains: the Stingray continues as the gateway into Corvette ownership, the Z06 pushes naturally aspirated engineering to its limits, and the all-new E-Ray introduces electrified performance without ditching the beloved V8. The ZR1 came in 2025; the 2024 lineup was Stingray (30,942 built), Z06 (10,575) and E-Ray (1,417).
The Stingray
The Stingray was still seven cars in ten — 18,139 coupes and 12,803 convertibles, 16,968 of them with Z51 — and unchanged under the skin. Behind the seats sits a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 making 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Add the optional performance exhaust (included in the Z51 package), and those figures climb to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft.
Power is routed through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and with the Z51 Performance Package GM quotes 2.9 seconds to 60 mph. Z51 was $6,345 and went on 55 percent of Stingrays, down from 65 percent in 2023 as the Z06 and E-Ray took the buyers who wanted more.
What was new for 2024
Three new colors — Riptide Blue Metallic (no charge, 2,869 cars), Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat ($995, 3,194) and Cacti Green (no charge, 1,179) — replaced Elkhart Lake Blue, White Pearl and Caffeine, and Carbon Flash Metallic, the 70th Anniversary color of 2023, was opened to every trim (1,984); a new Artemis Dipped interior in deep green, for 2024 only, joined the 3LT and 3LZ palettes (210 cars); the Tech Bronze accent package, Jake graphics, a visible-carbon two-stanchion spoiler and new wheel finishes arrived; Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator and automatic high beams became standard; and every price rose $2,100 for orders placed from October 2, 2023.
What the Stingray cost
The Stingray opened in July 2023 at $67,895 for a 1LT coupe, $74,995 for a 2LT and $79,645 for a 3LT, $74,895, $81,995 and $86,645 as a convertible, including a $1,595 destination charge — $2,300 over the 2023 prices for the coupes, $1,800 to $2,100 for the convertibles. For orders placed from October 2, 2023 every Corvette went up another $2,100 — $2,000 on the car and $100 on destination — to $69,995, $77,095 and $81,745 for the coupe and $76,995, $84,095 and $88,745 for the convertible, where it stayed for the rest of the model year.
The Z51 Performance Package was $6,345 (FE3 suspension, larger Brembo brakes, extra cooling, the electronic limited-slip with a 5.17 axle, the NPP exhaust and 495 horsepower, splitter and spoiler, Pilot Sport 4S tires), with Magnetic Ride another $1,895; FE4 (Z51 plus Magnetic Ride) went on 8,316 cars and FE3 on 8,652, and 2,808 non-Z51 cars took Magnetic Ride alone.
The Z06 in its second year
The Z06 had its first full model year and built 10,575 — 5,327 coupes and 5,248 convertibles, 2,715 with Z07 — against 6,413 in the sixteen-month 2023. Its 5.5-liter flat-plane crank LT6 V8 screams to 8,600 rpm and makes 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, without a turbo or supercharger in sight.
The Z06 carried over unchanged mechanically from its 2023 debut; with the Z07 Performance Package GM quotes 2.6 seconds to 60 mph. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a more aggressive aero kit, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires sharpen the car for circuit use.
What was new for 2024
The three new colors and Carbon Flash on every trim; the 70th Anniversary visible-carbon wheels with the red stripe, previously reserved for the Y70 cars, became a regular option; a visible-carbon-fiber LT6 engine cover, spoiler extensions with the Jake logo and Jake C8.R hash graphics were added; and the Z07’s carbon-ceramic brakes could be had alone — 4,253 Z06s had them against 2,715 Z07 packages.
What the Z06 cost
The Z06 opened in July 2023 at $109,695 for a 1LZ coupe, $118,595 for a 2LZ and $123,245 for a 3LZ — $116,695, $125,595 and $130,245 as a convertible — $2,500 to $3,300 over 2023, and rose with everything else on October 2 to $111,795, $120,695 and $125,345 for the coupe and $118,795, $127,695 and $132,345 for the convertible, including $1,695 destination. 8,640 of the 10,575 were 3LZs.
The Z07 package was $8,995 and required a carbon aero package at $8,495 in Carbon Flash or $10,495 in visible carbon fiber; the carbon-fiber wheels were $9,995 to $13,995. The markups of 2023 were gone by the end of the model year, and a 3LZ Z07 convertible with every box ticked listed near $165,000.
The E-Ray
The news for 2024 was the E-Ray, revealed on January 17, 2023 — seventy years to the day after the 1953 Corvette’s Motorama debut — as the first hybrid and the first all-wheel-drive Corvette. It is not an economy car: the Stingray’s 495-horsepower LT2 drives the rear wheels through the eight-speed dual-clutch, and a 160-horsepower, 125-lb-ft electric motor over the front axle drives the fronts, for 655 horsepower combined.
The motor drives only the front wheels and the V-8 only the rears — there is no mechanical link between them — and the traction made the E-Ray the quickest Corvette there had been: 2.5 seconds to 60 mph and 10.5 seconds at 130 mph in the quarter by GM’s figures, a tenth ahead of the Z06, from a 3,774-pound coupe (3,856 convertible) in the Z06’s wide body on its 20 and 21-inch wheels with carbon-ceramic brakes and Magnetic Ride standard.
How the E-Ray works
A 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery in the center tunnel between the seats, charged by the engine and by regenerative braking — there is no plug; Stealth Mode, selected at start-up, drives on the motor alone to 45 mph until the battery is spent; Charge+ holds the battery at its fullest for a track session; six drive modes; the Z06’s 3.6-inch-wider body, 15.7 and 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic Brembos and 20 x 10 / 21 x 13 wheels; FE5 Magnetic Ride 4.0 standard, FED with the $500 ZER package; Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP tires — the first all-seasons on a Corvette — or Pilot Sport 4S with ZER; an E-Ray Performance App on the touchscreen showing the two power sources.
What the E-Ray cost
Chevrolet announced the E-Ray at $104,295 for a 1LZ coupe and $111,295 for a convertible in January 2023 including $1,395 destination, confirmed those in July at $104,495 and $111,495 with the $1,595 charge, and raised them on October 2 — before the first car was built — to $106,595, $112,095 and $117,545 for the 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ coupe and $113,595, $119,095 and $124,545 for the convertible. The ZER performance package was $500; the carbon-fiber wheels $9,995 to $13,500; 977 of the 1,417 were 3LZs, and the first one, VIN 001, brought $1.1 million for DonorsChoose from Rick Hendrick at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach in April 2023.
The E-Ray had its own four wheel finishes, an Electric Blue stripe package, bright or black E-Ray badges, and — for 2024 only — the Artemis Dipped green interior, which 210 buyers across all three cars took.
Options across the three
Most of the order guide was shared across the three cars, and the 2024 additions were a Tech Bronze accent package for the Stingray and Z06 (Tech Bronze wheels, dark crossflags, a Jake hood graphic and hash stripes), Jake C8.R hash graphics for the Z06, visible-carbon sill plates, a convertible engine-appearance package with a windowed tonneau, a two-stanchion visible-carbon spoiler and two new wheel designs for the Stingray, the 70th Anniversary red-stripe carbon wheels and a visible-carbon LT6 cover for the Z06, and Carbon Flash Metallic paint on every car instead of the 70th package only.
What the order guide offered
Three seating styles (GT1, GT2, Competition Sport); Dozens of wheel options, from bright silver to carbon fiber; Color-matched or contrast brake calipers in red, yellow, edge red, and more; Carbon flash or body-colored mirrors, spoilers, and trim kits; Front lift system with GPS memory (optional); Performance Data Recorder and track telemetry tools; carbon-fiber interior trim and sueded-microfiber steering wheels and inserts.
Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam high beams became standard on every 2024, and the 2LT/2LZ and 3LT/3LZ groups added Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Park Assist. Convertibles were 44 percent of the year — 12,803 Stingrays, 5,248 Z06s and 818 E-Rays — with the retractable hardtop unchanged.
Three cars, 42,934 of them
The 2024 model year began on Monday, September 18, 2023 — a week later than planned and three days after the last 2023 — with the Stingray and Z06, and the first E-Ray came off the Bowling Green line on the night of December 11, 2023, two months behind the schedule GM had set in the summer. Through the winter the E-Ray and Z06 lines ran erratically (three E-Rays by December 21; whole days with none) while the Stingray ran at 200 cars a day, and the year ended in the first week of September 2024 with the 2025s starting on September 9. GM’s year-end sheet counts 42,934 cars: 30,942 Stingrays (18,139 coupes, 12,803 convertibles), 10,575 Z06s (5,327 and 5,248 — almost even after the convertible had outsold the coupe in 2023) and 1,417 E-Rays (599 coupes, 818 convertibles, 874 with the ZER package). 37,234 stayed in the United States, 3,344 went to Canada, 1,072 to Europe, 662 to Australia and New Zealand, 411 to Japan, 111 to the Middle East, 99 to Mexico and one to Israel; 1,231 were right-hand drive, 1,252 were delivered at the National Corvette Museum, and Arctic White (6,493) beat Torch Red (6,013) for the first time on a C8.
The E-Ray paces Indianapolis
The 2024 Corvette E-Ray paced the 108th Indianapolis 500 on May 26, 2024 — an Arctic White 3LZ coupe with a Natural interior, visible-carbon-fiber wheels and the standard all-season tires, with Indy 500 door graphics and a red-and-white E-RAY hood graphic — driven by Ken Griffey Jr., the twenty-first Corvette pace car and the eighth year in a row. (The 2023 race had been paced by a Red Mist 2023 Z06 convertible, the 2022 race by a 2023 Z06 70th Anniversary coupe.) No pace-car edition was sold, and the first E-Ray a customer could buy had already gone to Rick Hendrick at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach on April 15, 2023, for $1.1 million to DonorsChoose, with the car built to his order when production began.
Racing: the Z06 GT3.R’s first season
The C8.R was gone, and with it the factory program: from 2024 Corvette Racing was Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports, running two Z06 GT3.Rs — the first Corvette race car built to the international GT3 rules and sold to customers, with a 5.5-liter LT6.R, an Xtrac six-speed sequential and more production parts than any Corvette racer before it — in IMSA’s GTD Pro class with Chevrolet’s support, while AWA ran the first customer cars in GTD, TF Sport took two to the World Endurance Championship’s LMGT3 class, and more went to GT World Challenge America. The No. 3 of Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims finished fifth in the car’s debut at the Rolex 24 after leading 118 laps, took the first podium at Laguna Seca (the No. 4 of Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg, third), another at Watkins Glen, and on July 14 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park won the Z06 GT3.R’s first race from pole, leading 109 of 113 laps, with the No. 4 second for a Corvette one-two; a third at Indianapolis followed, and the two cars finished fifth and sixth in the GTD Pro points with Corvette third among the manufacturers. TF Sport’s Nos. 81 and 82 both finished the car’s first 24 Hours of Le Mans (eleventh and fifteenth in LMGT3) and took second and third at Bahrain to close the year; the customer cars won eleven races across the series, and in 2025 Pratt Miller would win the GTD Pro drivers’, team and manufacturer titles.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.RThe E-Ray’s front wheels and rear wheels are driven by two separate systems that never touch: the LT2 V-8 and the dual-clutch drive the rears, a 160-horsepower electric motor over the front axle drives the fronts, and the car’s computers keep the two in step. There is no plug — the 1.9-kWh battery charges from the engine and from braking — and in Stealth Mode the E-Ray leaves the driveway on the front motor alone at up to 45 mph, the first Corvette that could move without its engine running. 1,417 were built in the first year, 818 of them convertibles.
DID YOU KNOW
2024 Corvette E-Ray
Chevrolet gave the Corvette a hybrid for its seventieth birthday. Revealed on January 17, 2023 — seventy years after the 1953 car’s Motorama debut — the E-Ray was the first hybrid and the first all-wheel-drive Corvette, and it was built for speed rather than economy: the Stingray’s 495-horsepower LT2 and eight-speed dual-clutch drive the rear wheels, a 160-horsepower, 125-lb-ft permanent-magnet motor over the front axle drives the fronts, and a 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery in the tunnel between the seats, charged by the engine and by regenerative braking with no plug, feeds it. Together they make 655 horsepower and, by GM’s figures, 2.5 seconds to 60 mph, 10.5 seconds at 130 in the quarter and 1.1 g — a tenth quicker than the Z06 in a straight line — from a 3,774-pound coupe (3,856 convertible) in the Z06’s 3.6-inch-wider body on its 20 x 10 and 21 x 13-inch wheels, with 15.7 and 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic Brembos and FE5 Magnetic Ride 4.0 standard and Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP tires, the first all-seasons on a Corvette; the $500 ZER package brought Pilot Sport 4S summer tires and the FED suspension, and the carbon aero, carbon-fiber wheels and an Electric Blue stripe were options. Stealth Mode drives on the motor alone to 45 mph until the battery is spent, Charge+ fills it for a track session, and an E-Ray Performance App on the screen shows the two power sources at work. It was announced at $104,295 for a 1LZ coupe, confirmed at $104,495 in July 2023 and raised to $106,595 ($113,595 convertible) on October 2 before the first car was built; production began on the night of December 11, 2023, two months behind schedule, ran a handful a day through the winter, and reached 1,417 in the model year — 599 coupes and 818 convertibles, 977 of them 3LZs, 874 with ZER, 33 right-hand drive. VIN 001 brought $1.1 million for DonorsChoose from Rick Hendrick at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach in April 2023, and an Arctic White 3LZ coupe paced the Indianapolis 500 on May 26, 2024. The E-Ray has depreciated faster than the Z06 — Classic.com’s benchmark was $98,131 in October 2026 — which makes it the quickest Corvette per dollar there has been.

2024 Corvette Z06
The Z06’s second model year was its first full one, and Bowling Green built 10,575 — 5,327 coupes and 5,248 convertibles, almost even after the convertible had outsold the coupe in 2023 — against 6,413 in the sixteen months before. Nothing changed under the skin: the 5.5-liter LT6 at 670 horsepower and 8,600 rpm, the 5.56 axle, the wide body, the 20 and 21-inch forged wheels, the Z07 package at $8,995 with its carbon aero ($8,495 or $10,495), Cup 2 R tires, FE7 suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes, which 2,715 took (26 percent, down from 29) while another 1,538 had the carbon-ceramics alone and 2,634 the aero without Z07. What was new was on the order guide: the three new colors and Carbon Flash Metallic on every trim, the 70th Anniversary visible-carbon wheels with the red stripe as a regular $13,500 option (287 Z06s), a visible-carbon-fiber LT6 engine cover, spoiler extensions and rear hash graphics with the Jake logo, the Tech Bronze accent package, the Artemis Dipped interior (55 Z06s) and the standard driver-assistance features — and the price, $109,695 for a 1LZ coupe in July 2023 and $111,795 from October 2 ($118,795 to $132,345 for the convertibles), with GM’s sheet now calling the car 1YH instead of 1YD. 7,663 of the 10,575 were 3LZs, 295 were right-hand drive and 510 were delivered at the Museum. The 2024 was also the year the Z06 market settled: the early-2023 markups were gone, the LT6 campaign was behind the car, and a 2024 Z06 now trades at its sticker or a little under — Classic.com’s 2024 benchmark was $134,723 in October 2026.

2024 Corvette Z06 GT3.R
The Z06 GT3.R replaced the C8.R for 2024 and changed what Corvette Racing was. Revealed at Daytona on January 27, 2023 and built by Pratt Miller around the production Z06’s structure, it was the first Corvette race car built to the international GT3 rules and the first sold to customers: a 5.5-liter LT6.R rated at 500 horsepower for the World Endurance Championship and up to 600 for IMSA, an Xtrac six-speed sequential transaxle, a 2,733-pound homologation weight and more production parts — the aluminum frame, the bodywork, the engine architecture — than any Corvette racer before it. General Motors had ended the factory program after 2023, so Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports ran the Nos. 3 and 4 in IMSA’s GTD Pro class with Chevrolet’s engineering support and its drivers, AWA ran the first customer car (No. 13) in GTD after its second entry withdrew, TF Sport took the Nos. 81 and 82 to the WEC’s new LMGT3 class, and more went to GT World Challenge America. The first season was a learning year with one highlight: fifth at the Rolex 24 after the No. 3 led 118 laps, podiums at Laguna Seca (No. 4), Watkins Glen and Indianapolis, and on July 14, 2024 the car’s first win — Garcia and Sims from pole at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, 109 of 113 laps led, Milner and Catsburg 0.4 seconds behind for a Corvette one-two. The Pratt Miller cars finished fifth and sixth in the GTD Pro points and Corvette third of the manufacturers; TF Sport brought both cars home at Le Mans (eleventh and fifteenth in class) and finished second and third at Bahrain; across the series the Z06 GT3.R won eleven races in 2024. In 2025 it won the IMSA GTD Pro drivers’, team and manufacturer championships and the European Le Mans Series LMGT3 titles with TF Sport.

Price & Options
Core Features & Factory Options
Prices moved twice before a 2024 was built. Chevrolet released the order guide and prices on July 13, 2023: the Stingray at $67,895, $74,995 and $79,645 for the 1LT, 2LT and 3LT coupe and $74,895, $81,995 and $86,645 for the convertible — $2,300 over 2023 on the coupes, $1,800 to $2,100 on the convertibles, with the destination charge up $200 to $1,595 — the Z06 at $109,695, $118,595 and $123,245 for the coupe and $116,695, $125,595 and $130,245 for the convertible, and the E-Ray at $104,495, $109,995 and $115,445 for the coupe and $111,495, $116,995 and $122,445 for the convertible, unchanged from its January announcement except for the destination charge. Then, for orders placed from October 2, 2023, every Corvette rose $2,100 — $2,000 on the car and $100 more destination, to $1,695 — and the prices on this page are those: $69,995 for a Stingray 1LT coupe, $111,795 for a Z06 1LZ, $106,595 for an E-Ray 1LZ. Options were mostly carried over: Z51 $6,345, Z07 $8,995 with the $8,495 or $10,495 aero package, Magnetic Ride $1,895 on the Stingray, the front lift $2,595, GT2 seats $1,695, Competition seats $995 to $500 by trim, carbon-fiber trim $1,500 and $4,995, belts, stitching and calipers $495 and $695, Sea Wolf Gray, Red Mist and Amplify Orange $995, Rapid Blue and Accelerate Yellow $500. New were the $500 ZER package, the E-Ray’s four wheel finishes ($495 to $1,495), the carbon-fiber wheels from $9,995 to $13,500 on the E-Ray as well as the Z06, the Tech Bronze accent package and Museum delivery at $1,495, up from $995.
The take rates from GM’s year-end sheet: Z51 on 55 percent of Stingrays (16,968, down from 65), Z07 on 26 percent of Z06s (2,715, down from 29), ZER on 62 percent of E-Rays (874), the carbon aero on 5,349 cars — half the Z06s — against 2,715 Z07s, the front lift on 54 percent (23,084), GT2 seats on 56 percent (23,858), the Performance Data Recorder on 81 percent (34,669), the Stealth trim on 10,233, Carbon Flash mirrors on 14,966, carbon-fiber wheels on 1,433; 3LZs were 72 percent of Z06s and 69 percent of E-Rays, 3LTs 29 percent of Stingrays; 1,252 cars were delivered at the Museum and 1,231 were right-hand drive. The site has no 2024 options post — these prices are GM’s July and October 2023 releases and the order guide, and every count is from GM’s sheet (the site’s own copy of the sheet is the PRODUCTION button); the Stingray wheel finishes new for 2024 (Q9O, Q9Y) and the Z06’s titanium-satin wheels are listed without prices.

Specifications & Performance
Engine & Transmission
Three powertrains. The Stingray’s 6.2-liter LT2 (VIN 4) carried over at 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft, 495 and 470 with the NPP exhaust, through the eight-speed Tremec dual-clutch to a 4.89 or 5.17 (Z51) axle; the Z06’s 5.5-liter LT6 (VIN 3) carried over at 670 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 460 lb-ft with its 5.56 axle. The E-Ray takes the LT2 in its 495-horsepower NPP form, adds engine stop-start, and bolts a single permanent-magnet electric motor and gearset over the front axle — 160 horsepower and 125 lb-ft, fed by a 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery in the tunnel between the seats — for 655 horsepower combined. The two systems are not connected: the V-8 drives the rears through the dual-clutch, the motor drives the fronts, and the controls blend them (eAWD, with Performance Traction Management, six drive modes, Charge+ to fill the battery and Stealth Mode for electric-only running to 45 mph). The battery charges from the engine and from regenerative braking; there is no plug. GM quotes 2.5 seconds to 60 mph, 10.5 at 130 in the quarter and 1.1 g, against the Z06’s 2.6 and 10.6 and the Z51 Stingray’s 2.9 and 11.2.
The E-Ray wears the Z06’s body — 184.6 inches long, 79.7 wide, 3.6 inches wider than the Stingray — on the Z06’s 20 x 10 and 21 x 13-inch wheels with 275/30ZR20 and 345/25ZR21 tires, Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP as standard (the first all-season tire on a Corvette) or Pilot Sport 4S ZP with the $500 ZER package, which also brings the FED version of the standard FE5 Magnetic Ride 4.0; Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes of 15.7 and 15.4 inches are standard, the carbon aero and carbon-fiber wheels optional. Dry weight is 3,774 pounds for the coupe and 3,856 for the convertible, about 300 over a Stingray; cargo is 12.5 cubic feet. The Stingray (107.2-inch wheelbase, 182.3 inches, 3,535 / 3,637 pounds, 12.6 / 13.6-inch brakes or 13.3 / 13.8 with Z51) and Z06 (14.6 / 15-inch Brembos, Z07 15.7 / 15.4 carbon-ceramic, 734 pounds of downforce, 1.22 g) are unchanged. The site has no 2024 specifications post; the figures here are GM’s 2024 press material and the specification tables in the site’s unpublished 2024 draft.

Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN)
42,934 (18,139 Stingray coupes and 12,803 Stingray convertibles, 16,968 with Z51; 5,327 Z06 coupes and 5,248 Z06 convertibles, 2,715 with Z07; 599 E-Ray coupes and 818 E-Ray convertibles, 874 with ZER), built September 18, 2023 – early September 2024 (the E-Ray from December 11, 2023) Cars, Stingray 1G1YA2D4?R5100001 TO about 130942 (A/B/C = 1LT/2LT/3LT, 4 = LT2); Z06 1G1YD2D3?R5600001 TO about 610575 (D/E/F, 3 = LT6; 609641 documented); E‑Ray 1G1YK2D4?R5500001 TO about 501417 (K/L/M = 1LZ/2LZ/3LZ, 4 = LT2; 500581 documented); 2/3 = coupe/convertible, R = 2024; three series, none of the ends published
The site has no 2024 VIN post, so this section is built from GM’s scheme and documented cars. The year code is R, and for the first time there are three sequences at Bowling Green: the Stingray keeps A, B and C in the fifth position for 1LT, 2LT and 3LT, 4 for the LT2 in the eighth and its series from 100001; the Z06 keeps D, E and F for 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ, 3 for the LT6 and its series from 600001 (its model code changed from 1YD to 1YH on GM’s sheet, which the VIN does not show); and the E-Ray takes K, L and M for its 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ, keeps the LT2’s 4 in the eighth position — the hybrid system puts nothing in the VIN — and gets its own series from 500001. Documented: E-Ray 1G1YK2D44R5500581 (1LZ coupe, Red Mist) and 1G1YM3D4XR5500391 (3LZ convertible, Silver Flare); Z06 1G1YF2D39R5603197, 1G1YF2D3XR5606500, 1G1YF2D38R5607001, 1G1YF2D32R5607690 and 1G1YF2D3?R5609641 (3LZ coupes, up past 609,000 against 10,575 built).
If every car took a number the Stingray series would run to about 130942, the Z06’s to about 610575 and the E-Ray’s to about 501417; none of the ends has been published anywhere reached, and the pre-production cars outside the series and the customer-chosen numbers (the $5,000 PIN option — its 2024 count did not come through GM’s sheet) make the ends approximate. The first E-Ray, VIN 500001 by the scheme, is the car Rick Hendrick bought at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach on April 15, 2023 — $1.1 million to DonorsChoose, with another bidder adding $50,000 — built to his order after production began in December. The 2025 brings the year code S and the ZR1, with its own letters and the LT7’s engine code.

Market & Buying Guide
For Sale & What They Bring
The 2024 is three markets, and none of them is a markup market any more. The Z06’s over-sticker years ended during this model year — Chevrolet’s July 2023 pricing was reported with the note that dealers were back to MSRP — and a 2024 Z06 now trades at or a little under what it cost new; the E-Ray never had a markup year at all and has fallen faster than either of the others, which is where the value is; and the Stingray trades as a used Stingray, with the 2024’s $2,100 price rise invisible on the secondary market.
Classic.com files the E-Ray under /c8/e-ray/ with a benchmark of $98,131 in October 2026 across 2024–2026 and the same figure on its 2024 page (36 listings): Bring a Trailer sold a 9,000-mile 3LZ for $103,000 in August 2026 and a modified 15,000-mile 3LZ for $89,000 in October 2026, Cars & Bids passed a 2025 at $92,000 the same week, and dealers ask $91,550 to $120,000 for 2024s with 200 to 19,000 miles — most between $95,000 and $110,000 against the $106,595–$124,545 they cost new, and the cheapest 2024 the site has recorded sold for $83,500. The Z06 (/c8/z06/year-2024/, 13 pages, benchmark $134,723) asks $106,000 to $145,000 at dealers with 900 to 18,000 miles, and comparable 2024 3LZ coupes have sold between $119,900 and $127,292 — the $125,345 sticker, give or take options; the Z07 cars with carbon wheels sit at the top, and one 2024 3LZ Z07 convertible with $44,000 in options went to Bring a Trailer in March 2025 (the site has the listing).
The Stingray (/c8/stingray/year-2024/, 13 pages, no benchmark renders) asks $57,721 for a 14,000-mile 1LT to $84,991 for a modified 2LT, most 1LTs $60,000–$66,000, 2LTs $64,000–$70,000 and 3LTs $70,000–$78,000 at dealers with 1,000 to 24,000 miles — $8,000 to $12,000 under their stickers after one to two years — and no 2024 auction results appeared on the page served. A 2024 Stingray is the same car as a 2023 at a higher original price, so the 2023 is the better used buy unless the 2024’s standard driver-assistance features or one of the three new colors matters.
For a 2024 the questions are the E-Ray’s: the battery and the front drive unit are covered by the eight-year hybrid warranty and have no service history to speak of yet, Stealth Mode and the all-season tires are the things to try on a test drive, and the ZER package (874 of 1,417) is worth finding for the summer tires. On the Z06 the first-year engine campaign is behind the 2024s, and the carbon-ceramic brakes were on 4,253 of them. Look for the Artemis interior (210 cars across all three) and the Tech Bronze package as the rarities. Prices quoted here are hammer or sold prices as Classic.com reports them; check whether a buyer’s premium is included before comparing.

FAQs
How many 2024 Corvettes were built?
Chevrolet built 42,934 2024 Corvettes at Bowling Green between September 18, 2023 and early September 2024: 30,942 Stingrays (18,139 coupes and 12,803 convertibles, 16,968 with Z51), 10,575 Z06s (5,327 coupes and 5,248 convertibles, 2,715 with Z07) and 1,417 E-Rays (599 coupes and 818 convertibles, 874 with the ZER package), the E-Ray from December 11, 2023. Coupes were 56 percent and convertibles 44; 37,234 stayed in the United States, 3,344 went to Canada and 1,072 to Europe; 1,231 were right-hand drive and 1,252 were delivered at the National Corvette Museum. It was the second-biggest C8 year after 2023’s 53,785.
How much did the 2024 Corvette cost when new?
For orders placed from October 2, 2023 — after a $2,100 increase on every car — the Stingray listed at $69,995, $77,095 and $81,745 for the 1LT, 2LT and 3LT coupe and $76,995, $84,095 and $88,745 for the convertible; the Z06 at $111,795, $120,695 and $125,345 for the coupe and $118,795, $127,695 and $132,345 for the convertible; and the E-Ray at $106,595, $112,095 and $117,545 for the coupe and $113,595, $119,095 and $124,545 for the convertible, all including a $1,695 destination charge. From July to September 2023 every price was $2,100 lower ($67,895 for a Stingray 1LT coupe, $109,695 for a Z06, $104,495 for an E-Ray). Z51 was $6,345, Z07 $8,995 plus the aero package, ZER $500.
What is the 2024 Corvette E-Ray?
The first hybrid and the first all-wheel-drive Corvette, revealed on January 17, 2023 — the seventieth anniversary of the 1953 Corvette’s Motorama debut — and built from December 11, 2023. The Stingray’s 495-horsepower 6.2-liter LT2 and eight-speed dual-clutch drive the rear wheels; a 160-horsepower, 125-lb-ft electric motor over the front axle drives the fronts, fed by a 1.9-kWh battery between the seats that charges from the engine and from braking (no plug); together they make 655 horsepower, and GM quotes 2.5 seconds to 60 mph and 10.5 seconds at 130 mph in the quarter — the quickest Corvette there had been. It uses the Z06’s wide body, wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes with Magnetic Ride standard, rides on all-season tires (summer tires with the $500 ZER package), can run on the motor alone to 45 mph in Stealth Mode, weighs 3,774 pounds dry, and cost $106,595 as a 1LZ coupe. 1,417 were built in the model year.
What was new on the 2024 Corvette Stingray and Z06?
Three colors — Riptide Blue Metallic, Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat ($995) and Cacti Green — replaced Elkhart Lake Blue, White Pearl and Caffeine; Carbon Flash Metallic, the 2023 70th Anniversary color, went on every trim; an Artemis Dipped green interior was offered for 2024 only (210 cars); a Tech Bronze accent package, Jake hood and hash graphics, visible-carbon sill plates, a windowed convertible tonneau, two new Stingray wheel designs and a two-stanchion visible-carbon spoiler, the 70th Anniversary red-stripe carbon wheels and a visible-carbon LT6 cover for the Z06 were added; forward-collision alert, lane-keep assist, following-distance indicator and automatic high beams became standard; and prices rose in July and again in October 2023. Mechanically both cars were unchanged, and the Z06’s model code changed from 1YD to 1YH.

Yes: a 2024 Corvette E-Ray — an Arctic White 3LZ coupe with a Natural interior, visible-carbon-fiber wheels and the standard all-season tires, with Indy 500 door graphics and a red-and-white E-RAY hood graphic — paced the 108th Indianapolis 500 on May 26, 2024, driven by Ken Griffey Jr., the twenty-first Corvette pace car since 1978 and the eighth year in a row. The 2023 race had been paced by a Red Mist 2023 Z06 convertible and the 2022 race by a 2023 Z06 70th Anniversary coupe. No pace-car edition was sold.
How did Corvette Racing do in 2024?
It was the first season without the factory team and the first for the Z06 GT3.R, the customer car built to international GT3 rules. Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports ran two in IMSA’s GTD Pro class with Chevrolet’s support: the No. 3 of Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims finished fifth at the Rolex 24 after leading 118 laps, took podiums at Laguna Seca (the No. 4 of Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg), Watkins Glen and Indianapolis, and won the car’s first race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 14, 2024 from pole, leading 109 of 113 laps, with the No. 4 second; the two cars finished fifth and sixth in the points and Corvette third among the manufacturers. AWA ran the first customer car in GTD, TF Sport took two to the World Endurance Championship’s LMGT3 class and finished both at Le Mans and second and third at Bahrain, and Z06 GT3.Rs won eleven races across the series. In 2025 Pratt Miller won the GTD Pro drivers’, team and manufacturer titles.
