Chevrolet filled all 1,000 orders for the race-inspired commemorative C8 in record time, as production commenced. Those lucky enough to place their order before the mandatory production cap was reached, were treated to a handful of IMSA GTLM Championship C8 variants to choose from.
Three new exterior colors made their 2022 Corvette debut. Minor engine tweaks included an upgraded direct injection fuel system, improved engine calibration and an enhanced AFM. As with the 2021 model year, Corvette prices for 2022 creeped up again, this time by $1,200.
