Corvette Of The Day: 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Convertible

Propelled by a 6.2L LS3 V-8 engine coupled with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, this 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Custom rests upon a Street Shop Chassis featuring C7 suspension components. Its modifications, including Flaming River steering, diverge significantly from Chevrolet’s original intent. The body is coated in a combination of light green and gold pearl paint, complemented by brightwork and trim.

Rolling on handcrafted Brixton forged wheels and equipped with low-profile tires, this vehicle employs disc brakes with slotted rotors and Corvette-branded black calipers for braking control. The interior boasts Al Knoch AOK Almond-colored leather upholstery, a center console, Vintage Air system, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and more, culminating in a sumptuously opulent and personalized ambience.
