The seventh of just 25 specially modified examples produced for the 2019 model year, this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible Yenko/SC Stage II represents an extreme interpretation of the C7-generation Corvette. With a supercharged 6.8-liter V8 rated at 1,000 horsepower and extensive performance package, this exceptionally rare convertible is now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer.
Modified by Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) of Toms River, New Jersey, the Corvette is one of a reported 25 Yenko/SC Stage II examples built for 2019. Finished in black with contrasting red Yenko/SC graphics, it carries a distinctive appearance complemented by carbon-fiber exterior components, a vented carbon-fiber hood, a rear spoiler, and a black convertible soft top.
The car also features the Visible Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package, which adds a revised front splitter and extended rocker panels. Black 19-inch front and 20-inch rear multi-spoke wheels with red accents house Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, while red Yenko-branded Brembo calipers and carbon-ceramic rotors provide substantial stopping power. The Z07 package adds Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension and an Active Handling System with all-speed traction control, reinforcing the Corvette’s performance credentials.
The centerpiece is SVE’s Stage II 6.8-liter LT1 V8, which features a high-output supercharger, forged steel crankshaft, H-beam connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, and CNC-ported LT4 cylinder heads. Additional upgrades include ARP hardware, long-tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and a revised fuel system.
SVE rated the engine at an extraordinary 1,000 horsepower and 875 lb-ft of torque. Power reaches the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with a heavy-duty upgrade and an electronic limited-slip differential. A multi-mode exhaust system with black quad outlets completes the mechanical package.
The cabin combines luxury and track-focused equipment through the 3LT package. Heated and ventilated Competition Sport seats feature Jet Black leather, sueded microfiber inserts, red stitching, and SYC headrest logos. Carbon-fiber trim, a Bose audio system, head-up display, navigation, and a performance data and video recorder further distinguish the interior.
Showing just 222 miles, this Yenko/SC Stage II convertible is offered by a dealer in Sewell, New Jersey. Its documentation includes the original window sticker, SVE build sheet identifying it as build number seven, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title. The original window sticker lists a vehicle price of $100,325, while the SVE build sheet records a second-stage MSRP of $79,190.
