A virtually delivery-mileage 2027 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible is now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, presenting an opportunity to acquire one of the most powerful and technologically advanced production Corvettes ever built. Revealed in July 2024, the C8-generation ZR1 marked a significant milestone as the first production Corvette equipped with a twin-turbocharged engine.
Showing just six miles, this black-over-Adrenaline Red example combines the ZR1’s formidable twin-turbocharged powertrain with an extensive selection of carbon-fiber performance and appearance options. Finished in black, this convertible is equipped with the desirable Carbon Fiber Aero Package, adding a prominent carbon-fiber rear wing, hood spoiler, front dive planes, and aerodynamic ground effects. Additional exterior features include a carbon-fiber power-retractable hardtop, rear fender scoops, LED headlights, side air intakes, and a front splitter.
The car rides on optional carbon-fiber 20-inch front and 21-inch rear 10-spoke wheels, an approximately $16,000 upgrade, wrapped in Michelin tires. Its ZTK Performance Track Package incorporates a performance-oriented suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, while carbon-ceramic brakes with silver-finished multi-piston calipers provide substantial stopping capability.
Inside, Adrenaline Red leather upholstery contrasts with extensive carbon-fiber trim. Equipment includes heated and ventilated power-adjustable GT2 bucket seats, a heated carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel, the Stealth Interior Trim Package, and a configurable 12-inch digital instrument display with dedicated boost-pressure monitoring. A head-up display, Bose audio system, dual-zone climate control, and Chevrolet Infotainment 3 complete the cabin.
At its heart is the mid-mounted 5.5-liter LT7 V8, featuring a flat-plane crankshaft, secondary port fuel injection, and CNC-machined intake ports and combustion chambers. Twin turbochargers generating up to 20 psi of boost help deliver a factory-rated 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production Corvette to date.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Chevrolet quotes a top speed of 233 mph, while acceleration from zero to 60 mph takes approximately two seconds, placing the ZR1 firmly among the world’s elite performance cars. Further enhancing its specification are a front-axle lift system, driver-selectable exhaust modes, and a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance technologies.
