FOR SALE: 2012 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Centennial Special Edition

One of only 206 Centennial Edition ZR1 coupes produced

Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2012 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Centennial Edition represents one of the rarest and most distinctive versions of the C6-generation flagship. Introduced to commemorate Chevrolet’s 100th anniversary, the Centennial Edition combined exclusive styling details with the ZR1’s formidable supercharged performance. Just 206 Centennial Edition ZR1 coupes were produced, making this exceptionally low-mileage example particularly noteworthy.

Initially delivered to Bob Johnson Chevrolet in Rochester, New York, the car was acquired by its current seller in 2017 and shows just 809 miles. It is finished in Carbon Flash Metallic, complemented by Satin Black graphics, distinctive lightweight alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. The combination gives the car a unique appearance while distinguishing it from standard ZR1 examples.

The Centennial package includes several commemorative details. Louis Chevrolet’s likeness, wearing racing goggles with a prominent 100 emblem, appears on the B-pillar trim and wheel center caps. The crossed-flags Corvette badges also incorporate the anniversary number. The 19-inch front and 20-inch rear lightweight multi-spoke wheels feature red perimeter accents and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.

The cabin is upholstered in Ebony leather with microsuede seat inserts, red contrast stitching, and commemorative 100th-anniversary headrest embroidery. The three-spoke steering wheel is also wrapped in microsuede and carries Centennial Edition badging. This example benefits from the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, adding heated power-adjustable seats with driver memory, a Bose premium audio system, and navigation. Other equipment includes Keyless Access, push-button start, a power-adjustable steering column, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a head-up display.

At the heart of the ZR1 is Chevrolet’s supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8, factory-rated at 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. Featuring a dry-sump lubrication system, the engine represented the pinnacle of Corvette engineering for 2012. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential.

The ZR1 High Performance Package further enhances its capabilities, while Magnetic Ride Control provides electronically adjustable suspension damping. Brembo ceramic-composite brakes with red-painted calipers deliver substantial stopping power. Additional carbon-fiber exterior components reinforce the ZR1’s lightweight performance focus, while the combination of staggered wheels and high-performance Michelin tires provides the mechanical foundation for its considerable capabilities.
