The Chevrolet C8 Corvette ZR1X represents the most ambitious expression of Chevrolet’s mid-engine performance formula, combining twin-turbocharged V8 power with front-axle electrification and all-wheel drive. Now, an exceptionally low-mileage example is attracting attention on Bring a Trailer, offering collectors an opportunity to acquire one of the most powerful production Corvettes ever built.
Finished in black over Sky Cool Gray leather, this 2026 Corvette ZR1X 3LZ was initially used by General Motors as a Captured Test Fleet (CTF) vehicle for internal testing and evaluation. Showing just 302 miles, the car was configured with the Carbon Fiber Aero Package and ZTK Performance Track Package. The former adds a prominent carbon-fiber rear wing, tall hood spoiler, and front dive planes, while the latter brings performance-oriented suspension hardware with Magnetic Selective Ride Control.
Additional exterior highlights include a carbon-fiber rear split window, an electrochromic removable roof panel, and staggered 20-inch and 21-inch Carbon Flash forged alloy wheels. Braking is handled by Alcon carbon-ceramic discs with silver-finished multi-piston calipers. A front-axle lift system with memory settings further improves practicality, particularly when negotiating steep driveways and uneven surfaces.
At the heart of the ZR1X is Chevrolet’s twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter LT7 V8, paired with a front-mounted electric motor and a 1.9-kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack. The combustion engine drives the rear wheels, while the electric motor powers the front axle. Combined output reaches an extraordinary 1,250 horsepower and 973 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and electronic all-wheel-drive system manage power delivery across all four wheels.
Inside, the cabin features Sky Cool Gray leather upholstery, carbon-fiber trim, heated and ventilated GT2 bucket seats, and a carbon-fiber- and microsuede-trimmed steering wheel. Technology includes a 14-inch digital instrument display, a 12.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 6.6-inch auxiliary display, a head-up display, and a performance data and video recorder. A 14-speaker Bose sound system completes the equipment.
The car carried a total vehicle price of $247,000 in 2026 and received an oil change in October of that year. Its clean Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage. However, the listing notes General Motors’ restriction that resale within 12 months of the original August 12, 2025, purchase date would void the factory warranty for subsequent owners.
