1990 Corvette Production Volumes
Overall, sales of the Chevy Corvette dropped slightly in 1990, with a total sales of 23,646 units. Despite this decrease in sales, there was no question that Corvette had achieved an incredible success with the introduction of the ZR-1. Without question, “the King” had arrived.
1990 Production Volumes by Model Variant
A total of 16,663 coupes were built in 1990 (including cars with the ZR1 option code). The base coupe (no ZR1 package) accounted for 54.84% of production at 12,967 units while the base convertible accounted for 32.27% of production volume at 7,630 units made. Of the 16,663 coupes, 3,049 coupes had the ZR1 package ticked and made up 12.89% of total volume for the year.
