Set to cross the block at Mecum Auctions on September 26, this one-of-a-kind Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is the Brad Paisley Hero Edition, a special build created to recognize country music star Brad Paisley and his support for children’s charitable initiatives. The car was also one of two Corvettes featured in the Kids Wish Network Corvette Dream Giveaway, making it both a distinctive collector car and a vehicle with a philanthropic connection.
At its core is Chevrolet’s supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V-8, originally rated at 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. A comprehensive performance upgrade from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering raises output to more than 700 horsepower, with the listing citing approximately 720 hp. The modifications include a custom supercharger pulley and upgraded front inlet cover, while the engine retains forged internals, titanium connecting rods, and a dry-sump lubrication system. Power reaches the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission equipped with a twin-disc clutch, giving the ZR1 the mechanical character enthusiasts expect from Chevrolet’s flagship C6-generation Corvette.
The Hero Edition is equally distinctive visually. Its Arctic/Ermine White exterior is complemented by striking red striping, while carbon-fiber components—including the hood, roof and aerodynamic elements—reinforce the ZR1’s lightweight, performance-focused construction. The car rides on lightweight forged alloy wheels and features Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with red calipers, along with a limited-slip differential and active suspension system.
Inside, the car receives an exceptionally unusual red leather interior, complete with bucket seats, a center console and custom leather-wrapped surfaces. Brad Paisley’s signature appears on the dashboard and beneath the hood, while bespoke “Hero ZR1” badging and paisley-themed graphics further identify the car’s unique provenance.
The substantial 3ZR Package adds premium equipment including heated sport seats, a power passenger seat, Bluetooth connectivity, a Bose seven-speaker audio system, XM Radio and a universal home remote. Standard equipment includes Xenon HID lighting, traction control, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, remote keyless entry and power door locks.
With its unique serial number No. 1 designation, documented build sheet and window sticker, highly specific appearance, manual transmission and Lingenfelter-enhanced LS9, the Brad Paisley Hero Edition ZR1 stands apart as a rare combination of American supercar performance, celebrity provenance and charitable significance
