Corvette ZR1 arrives in the UK

Europe's first glimpse of the American supercar

Specialist high-performance retailer Clive Sutton has imported Europe’s first new Corvette ZR1 models – one of the world’s most in-demand supercars – to the UK, offering the acclaimed to an exclusive group of drivers. The first supercars to arrive include a striking ‘Competition Yellow’ ZR1, complete with the distinctive carbon fiber aero package, and a contrasting black model with twin red racing stripes. The new 1,064 bhp models are among the rarest new supercars on the continent; the pair of twin-turbocharged V8 supercars is two of fewer than 200 ZR1 models built in the initial 2025 production run, further enhancing their exclusivity and collectability.

Clive Sutton, Founder and CEO, comments

“We’ve imported the world’s most desirable high-performance and luxury vehicles for almost 40 years, but I still get excited by supercars like the ZR1. We are proud to have secured the UK and Europe’s first models, and we’ve already sold two of the first three cars we’ve brought in. We expect demand to outstrip supply for this iconic American supercar, and we’re confident that our seamless, premier experience is what customers at this exclusive end of the market expect.”

The Sutton team handles the entire sourcing, shipping, homologation, and registration process for their clients, ensuring a seamless order-to-delivery experience. As the most powerful Corvette ever, the 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8-powered ZR1 achieves a blistering 0-60 mph time of just 2.3 seconds and is capable of 233 mph. In June last year, the supercar set a 6:50.76 lap time at the Nürburgring, demonstrating its power, performance, and capability to challenge the best European supercars.

#3 on the way

Sutton’s black ZR1 is already spoken for, as is the third model they’ll receive shortly. However, the fully-spec’d Competition Yellow ZR1 remains available for a lucky customer wanting to join a very select group of European supercar owners. The Sutton team has sourcing, import, and domestic homologation in place to enable more customer orders for the coupe and convertible versions of the ZR1, each equipped with eight‑speed dual‑clutch transmissions.

The supercar’s advanced aerodynamics and adaptive suspension ensure maximum stability on road or track, while the deep V8 engine note guarantees these cars stand apart from rivals. Inside, the ZR1 blends driver‑focused ergonomics with premium materials, offering a cockpit that balances performance and luxury. From supportive sports seats to the latest connectivity, the interior is designed to keep drivers fully engaged while ensuring the car can be used daily.

With the US market continuing to see ZR1 models sold for up to $100,000 over the MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price), Sutton’s sourcing routes remain the most competitive ways to get these sought-after models into the UK. With the Sutton tam handling all sourcing, transportation, 10% import duty, 20% VAT, UK homologation and registration, UK customers will pay from £365,000-£425,000 depending on specification.
