Chevrolet’s 2019 ZR1 represented the final evolution of the front-engined Corvette, delivering a record 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque—more than any previous Chevrolet production car. At its core was a 6.2-liter LT5 V8 with an upgraded intercooled supercharger offering 52% more displacement than the Z06. Its top speed was officially clocked at 212.49 mph.
Aerodynamic enhancements included a unique front fascia for improved cooling and a carbon fiber “halo” hood showcasing the supercharger. Despite its immense power and aggressive character, the ZR1 was surprisingly manageable at low speeds and earned widespread acclaim as a true supercar.
