The Story of Polo Green
Polo Green Metallic arrived for 1990, the first dark green Corvette since 1980, and was reformulated as Polo Green II for 1992 under a new code. It became the C4’s steady fourth or fifth color — 3,534 cars in 1994 — and the green of the late ZR-1s. Many were ordered with the Light Beige or Tan interiors that made it look like an English car.
It ended with the C4 in 1996; the C5 had Fairway Green for two years and Dark Bowling Green for two, neither as popular. The site’s picture posts use Polo Green for every year.
