Corvette Listings We Love

[4/16/2024 Edition] Today we have yet another attempt at an E-Ray flip, with two other classic beauties

Our favorite listing!

Welcome back to another edition of CorvSport’s new series, where we comb the internet for the most interesting Corvettes currently listed for sale on the most popular sites. We love all Corvettes, but some catch our eye more than others. Perhaps it’s a tastefully done Restomod with a beastly engine or a model that is on the cusp of reaching collector status. Sometimes, you just see a Vette and go, “Woah, that thing is sweet! I wonder how much it would cost to grab her…”

Well, now all you have to do is bookmark this bi-monthly series to see the coolest listings currently in the marketplace. We’ll give you quick, concise highlights from the listing, just the right number of pictures, and provide a link if you prefer to take a deeper dive. Let’s get after it!

1965 Gen V LT1-Powered Coupe

Miles not listed

Current Bid: $70,000

Auction Ends: 4/22/2024

Offered By: Private Party

Listed At: Bring a Trailer

Why We Love It: Anytime a builder shoehorns a massive modern engine into a classic Corvette, we love it, and this is the first restomod I can recall seeing with a 6.2-liter LT1 from the seventh-generation Corvette. The phenomenal build does not end there, as this beautifully done restomod also gets a C7-style chassis that utilizes additional C7 suspension components as well as custom axles with QA1 shocks and Hyperco coil springs. The ‘Vette is also equipped with Flaming River power steering, C7 four-wheel disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder, and polished C7-style 19″ and 20″ wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (245/35 up front and 285/30 out back) finish out the C7-themed build.

2024 E-Ray Convertible 3LZ

25 miles

Current Bid: $125,000

Auction Ends: 4/18/2024

Offered By: Private Party

Listed At: Bring a Trailer

Why We Love It: Although the hybrid E-Ray is the most polarizing Corvette of recent times, we here at CorvSport love it! With all-wheel-drive, 655 hp and 595 lb-ft of torque, and a blistering 10.5 second quarter mile, what’s not to love? While many enthusiasts do not love the current market dynamic with dealer markups and flippers, it sure does make watching these opportunistic owners entertaining. This most recent flip attempt has an MSRP of $146,185, with the $13,995 carbon fiber wheels as the top-dollar option. The burning questions with this E-Ray: What is the private seller’s reserve, and will this E-Ray reach it?

1957 First-Production-Fuelie 283/283

26 miles shown (True miles unknown)

Current Bid: $90,000

Auction Ends: 4/20/2024

Offered By: Private Party

Listed At: Bring a Trailer

Why We Love It: This 1957 first-generation Corvette has everything CorvSport loves: rarity, notoriety, and classic old-school styling. As noted directly from the listing: “This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is reported to be the first production model equipped with Rochester mechanical fuel injection and one of approximately 20 examples at the beginning of the 1957 production run finished in Cascade Green. In 1956, a 283ci V8 fitted with the newly developed fuel injection system was installed in chassis E57S100010 for testing. The car was eventually refurbished by J&M Enterprises of Brooksville, Florida circa 2010, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2023.”
