Superformance Reimagines the Corvette Grand Sport: A Closer Look

In a recent video, Shawn Davis from Autotopia LA takes us on a tour of a remarkable machine: Superformance’s replica of the iconic 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. This isn’t your average Corvette; it’s a meticulously crafted 7/8 scale homage to the original five race cars built by Zora Arkus-Duntov.

Superformance stays true to the Grand Sport’s essence with a lightweight body, coilover suspension, and a single-leaf composite transverse rear spring. However, the heart of the beast is a modern marvel – a modified LS2 block pumping out an estimated 500 horsepower at the rear wheels.
