The Story of Laguna Blue
Laguna Blue was a 1966-only Sting Ray color, 2,054 cars, one of the race-track blues of the mid-years named for the Monterey circuit. Chevrolet revived the name for the C7 as Laguna Blue Tintcoat, a $995 three-stage paint that was on the 2014 Premiere Edition coupe and the 2014 pace car, and it sold about 3,000 to 3,600 cars a year from 2014 to 2016 — 8.8 percent of production each year.
Admiral Blue Metallic replaced it for 2017. The C7 Laguna Blue is lighter and brighter than the 1966 paint; both are on this page.
