The Overview
Arctic White was offered on the Corvette in 1993–2000, 2004–2027: 32 model years across the C4, C5, C6, C7, C8 generations, and it is on the 2027 order guide. GM’s color counts put 104,561 Arctic White Corvettes on the road, 8,368 of them in 2016 alone; no per-color records survive for 2026–2027.
Solid bright white, the Corvette white since 1993. Its share of a year’s production ran from 5 to 22 percent, and it was the best-selling color of the year 7 times. It was a no-cost color. The interiors most often paired with it were Black, Ebony, Gray, Jet Black. The Story of Arctic White
Arctic White arrived with the 1993 40th Anniversary year as a brighter, bluer white than the 1980s White it replaced, and it has been on the order guide every year since except 2001 to 2003, when Speedway White stood in. It kept the old code 10 through the C6 and became G8G when GM moved to three-character paint codes for the 2014 C7.
It is the most popular C7 color by a wide margin — nearly a fifth of every 2014–2019 Corvette — and the 2013 60th Anniversary cars (2,059 of them) and the 2007 Ron Fellows Championship Edition Z06 were Arctic White only. On the C8 it runs second to Torch Red most years and first in some, and the 2024 and 2025 figures show it still at 15 to 18 percent.
White Corvettes were the first (Polo White in 1953) and the most popular of the C1 and C3 eras, so Arctic White is the modern chapter of the oldest Corvette color story. It is a solid, no-cost paint, easy to match and easy to keep, and the C7 and C8 stripe and accent packages were designed around it.
